Went there with a friend, pretty good food! I had the super wet burrito with a deluxe taco (hard shell with meat, lettuce and cheese). Deluxe taco was $1.50 and it had a freshly fried tortilla which was awesome! My super wet burrito was $7!!! Thats kinda expensive.... Also if you want sour cream, tomatoes, or even HOT SAUCE on... I love taco boy. I was shocked when I seen this location.. I thought there was only one location left. That said, the food tasted the same as their Plainfield location but the portions were noticeably smaller. Resturant was clean. Staff was standard. And if your ordering extra hot sauce, check out the menu-- order the individual 1oz containers for... More

I like it so much that this is all I ever order when we go there. You will get a nice, big portion and it is very tasty. Many people get carry-outs since the atmosphere is nothing fancy. Support a local (non-chain) diner. If you have never been there give Taco Boy a try. There is even a super wet... More

Prices are good for large portions. Place was pretty loud when we were there. The restaurant is in a strip mall. No table service. Salsa served in a packet. No napkins on table. Lady who took order had bad missing teeth and was hard to understand. Her appearance was unkempt. (sorry).

New location but same great food. Got like seventy tacos for ten bucks and got them faster than it took me to order them (slight exaggeration but you get the point)...too good! If you have guts, and a hard core pm townie like me, you can walk up the street and grab a shake from Jon's to rinse it all... More

Growing up in the Lansing area we had heard that Taco Boy was the same great food we had at Mr. Taco all those years ago. We decided to give it a try with high expectations and were extremely disappointed. I would rather eat Taco Bell then this place. Place was dirty with torn seats, greasy feel to the tables... More

While the joint may seem quaint, Taco Boy has the best Mexican food in town, and for very reasonable prices. I especially recommend the tamales, and the soft corn tortilla tacos.

Just had THE WORST customer service experience here ever. The manager blamed ME for getting the order wrong--which is not something you ever do. Not only is my food inedible, she didn't offer a refund but rather said she'd replace it next time I was in. Kind of pointless because I wont be coming back.

I discovered Taco Boy when I attended CMU over 30 years ago. The location of this restaurant has changed but the food has not. It's still great! Beats the heck out of taco Bell!
