We had booked one night in a bungalow, which was nice. There is a pool and an interesting fort to visit, a bit run-down yet interesting. Breakfast was great, and there is a nice pool area, too. The waterhole was disappointing, however. What most disturbed...More

Just stopped for petrol but took a walk through the old fort. You can no longer climb to the top, most of the shops and restaurants were closed and the whole place looked like it needed attention.

The lodges here are very nice and better than expected. Other facilities were also ok. Restaurant food was nice and staff there was nice as well (better vs Halali). Staff at the front desk did their job but nothing more. The fortress adds to the...More

Accommodation was good with huge en-suite baths. We were close to the waterhole but with lots of rain around, we did not see many animals. The afternoon drive was good with lions close to the road.

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed sitting outside in the gardens. The food is typical fast food type of food and does the job. The menu is adequate and the service reasonable.

We had a light lunch at the newer restaurant as the Fort is unfortunately out of circulation and in need of TLC. Possibly the friendliest and most engaging NWR staff we encountered throughout Etosha. Be warned, the veterinary control is at the exit of Namutomi...More

The website should make it possible to review the accommodation as well and not only the restaurant. You HAVE to book B&B if you do not camp, so we had breakfast at Onkoshi, Namutoni, Halali and Okaukuejo. It was exactly the same at all the...More

Near a dry waterhole, didn't see animals. Restaurant staff was real horroble. If u don't like your job find something else but don't be that unpolite to guests. We didn't make a reservation for the camping place. It was full booked but yeh, why not...More

Etosha National Park is huge, stretching to 22,000 sq km. So to get the most of the game, one has to move among Halali, Namutoni and Okaukeujo, three major points for best game viewing. Halali and Namutoni are places we stopped for lunch, quick toilet...More

Hi Hulda, I don't think there is a problem in stopping only to have lunch. We were staying at Namutoni, but I think all the camps are used to have walk - ins. Besides the old look it was one of the best restaurants of the... More
