This was an unexpected great stop on a roadtrip. The hubby and I had always seen the billboard on the freeway and finally decided to stop in. The ambiance was really cool in an old fashioned kind of way. The food was delicious. The waitress...More

We meet our family from Detroit often in Marshall. We have been to Winston’s inside Schuler’s a few times and are always pretty satisfied. They seem to make a lot of items from scratch, corned beef, cheese spread, crackers, etc. This trip we had a...More

Schuler's has been here for decades. It is the type of place that you go for very special occasions, which is unusual for a small town. The food is very good and the service is phenomenal. Winston's Pub is a bit more reasonably priced, but...More

I've been coming to Marshall frequently for work and Schuler's is always one of my dinner stops. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. This isn't a spot for the younger crowd but has the feel of an old speak easy. All wood...More

We occasionally stop at Schuler's on our drive to Chicago. Their prime rib is the best! It never disappoints. The service is always friendly. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Love this restaurant!

Ate at the pub, a cool, old-fashioned place heavy on the dark wood with a nice, long bar. Very enjoyable to sit and chat while having dinner. Had the pretzel bites and queso (melted cheddar with a bit of a kick) for an appetiser --...More

For over 100 years, Schuler's Restaurant & Pub has kept it in the family - and beaten the odds. How rare is this achievement? According to Family Business Review more than 30 percent of all family-owned businesses survive into the second generation. Twelve percent will still be viable into the third generation, with three percent of all family businesses operating at the fourth-generation level and beyond. Schuler's, a four-generation, family-owned restaurant in Marshall, Michigan is an institution. Schuler's attributes its longevity to the foresight of our founder and the succeeding family members who have used their entrepreneurial skills to build a 100-year tradition of hospitality and fine dining.
