Stopped with three friends for what I had hoped would be a special dinner here. Two had salad's with salmon. The salad was fine but the salmon was done in a heavy marinate and tasted nothing like salmon. Why do that??? I had their signature Schnitzel dinner. I received one medium size piece with a very very thin pork center.... More

Myself and my wife have been comming here for special occasions for years. Their steaks are the best around and we are never disappointed. I hope they continue their tradition in quality for both food and service. A bit out of way, but well worth the two hour drive.

Treated myself on my birthday. Had the prime rib with green beans and potatoes, and small salad. The meat and vegis were very good, the salad and bread were nothing special. The waitress never once smiled at me. She made me feel out of place.

I haven't been to Schulers since the Grand Haven location closed many years ago.... I was glad to find Schulers was still in business when we strolled into Marshall. Our dinner was excellent, our server Kim was a sweetheart. Thank you to all the staff for a nice evening.

I've been in Schuler's for dinner business meetings, today we did Easter Brunch. The quality of the food was excellent, from the biscuits and gravy to the prime rib. The service, Marissa took really good care of us and the Easter bunny paid us a visit. Great experience.

I've been coming to Schuler's since I was a child and I remember when it was considered one of the best restaurants in Michigan. Well, the menu hasn't changed much -- dishes are fairly heavy and meat-centric. I had a massive serving of fried German pork schnitzel with spatzle and cabbage. My husband had pot roast with potatoes and roasted... More

We have enjoyed meals at Schuler’s in Marshall a few times before today’s lunch. But today was one of the most pleasurable dining experiences recently for us anywhere. Our meal was great, and the service from our server was superb to say the least. Kimberly was very gracious and assisted us with several items from the menu. Her attentiveness and... More

We had stopped in to get some creme brulee from Winston's, which is the bar attached to this place, but they were packed as usual. You can get the same menu from Schuler's, it is simply a more formal atmosphere. Although they seem to have done away with the whole Ye Olde English theme and garb they used to wear.... More

What a wonderful place to go after Church. The buffet is huge and the flavors are fantastic. If you leave hungry it's you own fault.

Schuler's has been here my entire life and is a must-stop when in the area. We ate dinner here on a Friday evening and had a nice table, excellent service and the food was, as always, fabulous. I would recommend splitting an entrée if you have a smaller appetite as the portions are large. The walleye and London broil were... More

Description
For over 100 years, Schuler's Restaurant & Pub has kept it in the family - and beaten the odds. How rare is this achievement? According to Family Business Review more than 30 percent of all family-owned businesses survive into the second generation. Twelve percent will still be viable into the third generation, with three percent of all family businesses operating at the fourth-generation level and beyond. Schuler's, a four-generation, family-owned restaurant in Marshall, Michigan is an institution.

Schuler's attributes its longevity to the foresight of our founder and the succeeding family members who have used their entrepreneurial skills to build a 100-year tradition of hospitality and fine dining.
