Had a business lunch here and it served it's purpose. It's nice to have a restaurant with parking near downtown, which contributed to why I chose it. The place is popular and fairly small, which means turn over is slow. This coupled with kind of slow service was slightly annoying. That said, the food was good. I had the shrimp... More

We stopped in because this place offered numerous vegetarian and interesting options. The set up is a bit odd, but there are a few different kinds of places to sit. We got the one right in front of the cooks. So we watched our meal be prepared. Our server (Amy) was friendly, and made a few suggestions of what was... More

Had dinner here tonight with our daughter and her boyfriend. Our 1r year old was also along for the meal. Great customer service and cozy seating. I enjoyed the French Dip on fresh baguette rolls whole husband had the Acropolis, which was a lamb stuffed pita. He and my oldest daughter thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband had the pasta salad... This is a popular restaurant in our community for lunch and dinner. I appreciated that we could enjoy breakfast all day and had the seafood chowder omelet, which was stuffed with one of the restaurant's outstanding soups. It came with potatoes and toast -- a more than filling lunch. From previous visits I can recommend any of the sups.

My brother and I stopped in for breakfast. He had hotcakes w/ jalapenos and I had the seafood chowder omlette. Both were delicious. In fact it was so good we came back for lunch 3 hours later. we were not even that hungry but we decided it would be worth the stop. we were right. The staff was a delight... More

We came because of the #1 TripAdvisor rating and were not disappointed. Everybody loved their breakfast, the staff was very friendly, and the place was bright and sunny and inviting.

I have been to the Soup Spoon Café for lunch many times because, frankly, it is just the best place for lunch I have ever been in the Greater Lansing area. Another great meal at Soup Spoon. I always have the Cherry Bomb Shrimp (shrimp in a creole lobster cream sauce served with french bread for sopping up the sauces). I've had it dozens of times, and love it. This time, it seemed exceedingly salty, but still very good. Soup Spoon has a great wine, beer, and cocktail menu. This night... More

Friendly greeting, attentive wait staff and wonderful menu choices. Some of the best omelets and egg scrambles and skillets in the area. Always busy, but never crowded. Be sure to check out the awesome mural by REACH Arts on the west side of the building. Bring some chalk if you want to let the world know what you are grateful... More
