Had Sunday brunch here with family. Two of us ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cold and the hollandaise sauce was skimpy, the fried potatoes were also very salty. I thought the portions for all of us were very small. Our server while...More

Beggar's is an E. Lansing staple. They have great food and drinks, a friendly staff and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Fun place to bring a crowd and hang out.

Three wonderful vegetarian breakfasts. I had the. Cali Bene and it was awesome with just enough lemon in the hollandaise to make it really great. Service was awesome too. We will be going back.

My wife's steak was very good, my chicken not very good, dry and over cooked. Service was slow, ambiance pretty typical college town.

We went to Beggars Banquet on Homecoming after the game. This has always been one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in E. Lansing for brunch, lunch or dinner. Although the food was fine, the restaurant itself is looking old and tired. The carpet was...More

A classic college town eatery, service was good as was the food. The greatest attraction is the proximity to the university and the great college town vibe.

I went to Beggar's Banquet for a Sunday brunch with family and was very impressed. I had the Beggar's Bowl and it was amazing. I was worried it would be overwhelmingly eggy, but was greatly surprised with this delicious, hearty dish. Not only was the...More
