Best sandwiches!!

One of the BEST sandwiches ever!! Had the roasted sweet potato sandwich and was so yummy! Everything we ordered was amazing!!

Good food, fair price

Been going here since I started working downtown. Their salads, soups, and sandwiches are usually pretty good. Sometimes you'll get an over seasoned soup but for the most part they're pretty good. Usually do the lunch combo (half sandwich and bowl of soup) which runs about 8-9 bucks. Very hearty soup. Sandwiches are the good, usually when I get a sandwich not already made I'll ask for the sauce on the side or lite dressing because it's usually layered on and my sandwich is pretty drenched by the time I sit down to eat. Overall good lunch spot with many options.

Great Soups! Try the African Peanut Soup. 1/2 sandwich and bowl of soup is perfect size! On Thursdays come early and get the BBQ Chicken and Jalapeno Mac N Cheese.

Extemly dissapointing

This place USED to be good about 5 years ago and has steadily gone down hill. Just spend close to $9 on a soup and salad combo that were basically inedible. The soup (broccoli cheese) was more like a thick sauce, I felt like I was eating scoops of cheese sauce with huge chunks of broccoli that were still crunchy. The salad, a Caesar, was extremely soggy. It was like they mixed it with water instead of dressing. Extremely disappointing and a waste of money. They need to work on their quality ASAP, and also some of their employees who sloppily put together the food. There are plenty of new places opening up that blow them out of the water.

Excellent choice for a non-profit conference!

Ordered lunch for 100+ people. Easy to work with, excellent service, and they give a discount for non-profits/charities! The sandwiches, soups, and salads were all delicious. We were warned that the sandwiches are HUGE, and they were right--even the heartiest eater would probably be happy with the half sandwich. Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you, Lunchtime Global!

Really crowded during lunch

We went there during lunch hour and there was a half hour wait to order and they run out of some of the items for the sandwiches we wanted. It is very hard to find a table to sit there and you can't wait to get out soon. The sandwich was okay, nothing special to talk about. If you're in downtown and really really want a healthy sandwich and you have an hour to spare, then I would suggest going here.

Lots of home soups to select from daily. You need to know what you want when you get in line because they are VERY busy. So, study the menu before you get into line.

Best Soup Selection in Detroit

If you love soup for lunch, then this is the place to go. Every day they have @ least a dozen choices & you can sample 1st so you know what you're getting. I've never had anything else there so can't offer an opinion on their sandwiches & hot dishes, though they too look very good.

I have tried over a dozen kinds of soup and none disappoint. It is great with a tasting you know you will enjoy a bowl or a cup. The salads and wraps are good too and very fresh.

Outstanding Soup and Selection of Soups

I visited today for the first time and the very friendly man behind the counter suggested I sample a couple of soups. I tried the African Peanut Soup and the Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup and the African Peanut was the winner. It is very good. I will be back

Great Food!

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday and ordered him lunch from Lunchtime Global since he works in the same building. I talked to Carrie and she helped me choose a meal to be ready for pick up. Carrie was friendly and helpful. My boyfriend rated the Copenhagen salad excellent, the mushroom-quinoa soup excellent, the chicken noodle soup excellent and the brownie just ok. I think it was overbaked as he said the taste was good but it was very dry...and he loves chocolate. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both their food and their great customer service. Great place for lunch

This is a great option for lunch in the downtown area. There is definitely a line to get in, so I suggest arriving early! There is decent seating in the restaurant, but there also seems to be a pretty brisk takeout business. I ordered a salad, which ended up being very good. It was freshly made to order, and came with a large portion of chicken. The staff was very friendly, and the whole ordering process fairly efficient. There was a good variety of salads and sandwiches to choose from. This place definitely has repeat potential!!

AMAZING SOUP!!!

They have the best soups. Typically they offer at least 8 different soups every day. The also have an excellent selection of sandwiches and salads. If you are not in the mood for something heavy to eat. They have a cold case with veggies and hummus dip as well as yogurts to choose from.
