We stopped in after a concert at Fillmore. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and reasonable.

Is Detroit style pizza a thing? I'd never heard of it until I was there, and it was something I had to stick in my mouth. My local friend recommend Niki's. Nice place. It's Greek, which I thought is odd for a pizza place. Can't fault them on the pizza, or the price. The day I went all large pies... More

While we didn't have pizza, the gyros, salad and fries were very good, We also enjoyed some very tasty, spicy, bloody Mary's. Located in Greektown,

We didn't know there was such a thing as Detroit-style pizza, but there is and the Pizza at Niki's is certainly worth trying. This is a deep-dish square pizza with a crispy shell, and light almost cake-like interior. The toppings, cheese and sauce are rich in flavor, but not too heavy. We've eaten traditional pizza in Naples, New York style... More

Went for lunch restaurant was empty except for one other table. Food was ok but was barely warm. Felt like waitress was hurrying us through the whole meal. Before I had finished one piece of pizza she was wanting to know if I needed a to go box. About a minute later she was wanting to take our plates from... More

The pizza was actually really good. I liked how the sauce and cheese were laid out and the crust was very tasty. However the gyro meat tasted like processed crap. Very disappointing gyros. The hummus was good though as well. All in all not bad. Go with the pizza for sure.

Hit'em up during a 5 hour layover(easily done with time to spare) and 10 days in China. Our jet lagged bellies craved something familiar and Niki's did not disappoint. We ordered two pies, a gyro and the Saganaki. Everything was fantastic. The Saganaki was first to arrive. Saganaki is greek cheese that is doused in brandy then lit on fire... More

Second time we have eaten there while in Detroit. Flaming cheese is delicious! Although we have never gotten the pizza we recommend it as our friends always share theirs.

A personal favorite. I have been stopping by Niki's prior to St Andrews show and sports events with regularity for 30 plus years. The recipe has been constant and delicious. The pizza if you have not had this style is a bit different. It is and square styled pizza cooked in a well cured pan. It seems the layering sequence... More
