Often we are in the neighbourhood for dinner or drinks and this gem is open late to satisfy your sweet tooth! Love popping in for a box of mixed pastries to bring home. Prices are good and service is quick despite the sometimes long line-ups. Something for everyone!

I stopped in with 3 teenage girls after a dinner in Greektown. The variety of sweets is amazing. It was pretty busy with a line around the shop. Unless you know exactly what you want, be patient and take time to view all of the displays. The red velvet cupcakes chocolate chip cookies are delicious. They also have ice cream and... More

Awesome not one bad item. The line and waiting in a zoo but worth every pain of waiting and price. I have not found a better dessert bakery in detroit.

Wide selection and prices about what you would figure for being where it's located. Always enjoyed their carmel apples, huge to say the least. cheese cakes are very good too. Don't get down there very often but always stop when i am in the area

Went in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Excellent cinnamon rolls and other pastries and cookies. They also have coffees, hot chocolate, other drinks and ice cream. Delicious!

I've never had anything bad from this place, but the best thing I've had was the baklava! Amazing! Every time I walk in, I want to try one of every single thing! Thankfully, I can't afford to!

It has many varieties to choose from, especially a lot of Mediterranean sweets like Baklavas are available there, the brownies are great. Be mentally prepare to walk few feets to the shop since it's not easy to find parking near the store.

Following up our meal in Greektown, a friend suggested we try this spot to get dessert. Such an amazing variety of goodies, it was difficult to settle on just one thing! We each got something different, and shared. Everything was wonderful and fresh. We tried the Lemon Bar (refreshing and not overly sweet), the chocolate mousse (decadence in a cup),... More

I Love the bakery. They have delicious Rumballs and other great bake good. I do believe the people working there could be more polite and friendly. I've had people that were plain rude. Customer service needs some improvement

I haven't been to Detroit in 25 years and didn't want to miss a trip to Greek Town. After dinner I headed to what I remembered as a great bakery. Astoria didn't disappoint. We picked several different things. The Kouribedis (powder sugar butter cookie) was just as delicious as I remembered. The Napoleons were excellent; actually everything we picked out... More
