This place has everything for the desert person. From pies, cakes, cookies to ice cream. We always stop there when we go to Greektown. This trip I bought the Black Forest Cake, The Strawberry Cheesecake and two Rum Balls. First these are not a sweet sugar type of deserts. If you ever had Italian cookies it is like that not... More

Greek town is a great place to visit with family or for a night out on the town. Plenary of restaurants, cold beverage and this gen of a bakery. Stop in and sit down or take it to go. Bring your sweet tooth as you'll see everything from chocolate dipped pretzels and strawberries to tortes, cannoli and baklava.

Everytime we go to Greek town, we make a visit to the Astoria pastry shop. They have the best chocolate chip cookies. If you are not a fan of cookies, there is obviously something wring with you. But, they do have plenty of other sweet confections to satisy you. Tummy too full from dinner? Take it to go. You won't... More

I've been to Astoria in both Royal Oak and Detroit, and I'm sorry to say- the taste just doesn't live up to the visual. When you peek in the window, and even pop in, everything looks AMAZING. In reality though, it's just okay. Sorry, Astoria- I want to love you!

Greek Town's bakery and pastry shop never disappoints. The only problem is all the choices. The service is fast but courteous, and they tie up your box of goodies with string. If you are anywhere near Astoria, you owe it to yourself to stop by for a treat.

Always a safe bet. Nothing extraordinary to be honest. Just a nice cozy little place (also kinda historic). If u are not a baked delights aficionado like myself, you will still somewhat enjoy it. In any case there is gelato too (i think .. or is it ice cream 🤷🏽‍♀️)

They have a little bit of everything. 6 delicious treats cost $17. Will for sure stop in again while walking the city.
