My friend and I are trying out new places to eat when we go to the Fisher theatre. Thought we'd try the Mercury Burger and Bar this past Thursday. As we were running late we told our server that we needed to be out by 7:30 at the latest. We both ordered burgers,I had the NY,NY burger ,she had the... More

I've eaten here a half dozen times. The burgers are always GREAT. My picky son even loves the burgers. The garlic fries are my favorite, but you must LOVE garlic to enjoy them, because they are loaded with garlic. Also, the milkshakes are delish. So far the Juicy is my favorite. But the bacon cheeseburger comes in second. All of... More

Diner-style restaurant. Friendly staff. Fantastic place for casual meal in Corktown. Across from site of old Tiger Stadium.

We went to the Mercury Bar while we were waiting for a table at Slow's BBQ across the street, and if we are ever in the area again, I'd stay here for dinner. Mobbed at 5PM, the Mercury is clearly a popular local spot. Good beer selection, very friendly and efficient service, dealing with the crowds waiting to get in.... More

I liked this place! I went with my boyfriend and a group of friends and sat in the closed-in patio room at a picnic table. We had good food and good service, and the best Orange Faygo Dreamsicle milkshake I've ever had.Oh and they keep that room well heated! Which makes this always-cold person very happy. I do have to... Went here for the first time. It was by far one of the best burger's I have ever had. These are not just any old cheese burgers. They offer ton's of different toppings to put on them.

Greak Corktown spot with easy parking and excellent burgers, beer and sides. Everyone we have taken there loves the food. Cannot understand the parking issue cited by one reviewer. Parking on the streets is safe and free.

Stopped for lunch twice and ate at the outdoor seating which has no charm but at least you're outside eating a delicious burger with fries. Maybe more fun at night burger selection is good. Parking is not. It's right across the street from Slows BBQ. Get there early on Friday lunchtime.

I really used to love this place. Unfortunately, they fry their tots and fries in lard, and since I don't eat pork, I've been unable to try those. I would get the turkey burger 2-3 times a month and I loved it. The patty was well seasoned and the garnishes complimented it perfectly. I almost always carried out, so my... More

Went out of my way to Stop in on Friday night after auto show. Parking limited to street in a not busy area in Detroit or limited parking for $3 in "secure" lot. Not too busy was told to sit anywhere in very small place but I guess there's an upstairs. Waiter was slow and not friendly. Basically take your... More
