Entirely worthwhile trip for authentic and fresh middle eastern baked desserts. Also serves coffee and ice cream. Polite and friendly staff.

One of my best Bakery in Dearborn / Detroit Area . All Stuffs are really Tasty and Bakey is Super Clean. It is Little bit Expensive I found but it worth it.

A very busy bakery with amazing selection of sweets, pastries, cakes and the like. It also has a cafe' with fresh coffee, ice-cream and juices. I admit their fancy pastries which look great fall short in taste when compared to French or German pastries of the same. This does not take away from being a nice pastry and cake shop... More

The store is spacious with all kinds of baked goods and pastries. The classic middle eastern sweets are there like Kunafe, Baklava as well as other things like mini pizzas and croissants. There is also cookies (petit fours) and gateau or cake. There is a place to order coffee or juice and a nice sitting areas with lots of light.... More

I highly recommend buying your middle east sweet goodies from there. Unfortunately fortunately some of the workers are not so nice. And I came across two of those during an hour visit. How that store works is you can get ice cream standing in a line and you have to get a number for the bakery part. A girl at... More

I purchased a selection of middle eastern pastries today. On the way back home, I got a call from the restaurant saying I had dropped my wallet and they would hold it for me. My phone number is not listed on anything in my wallet and I subsequently discovered that the staff had gone to a great deal of trouble... More

This place is always buzzing with energy and the most delectable desserts found in this part of town. You can find French pastries as well as exotic sweets from the Middle East. I found the price is very reasonable & service good (for a busy place). It's very well let from the outside and good clean interior on the inside,... More

Shatilah is best known as a Middle Eastern bakery - but - it has all the elements of the above mentioned. Do you want the regular Baklava, or the Pistachio? HInt: go with the little green nuts. The French Pastries are incredible, especially the ones crafted in hand made chocolate tea cups. If you decide to visit on a leisurely afternoon... More

The food is great. Nice selection and reasonable prices. Shatilas is always on our list to visit. Desserts to die for and nice little meat pies.
