Worst carvery I have ever had will never use again in and out in 20 minutes only 4 small roast spuds and 1 stuffing ball which tasted like frozen ones

Stood at the bar waiting 30 minutes to buy the carvery, then waited another 15/20 minutes for the chef to restock all food items. Considering the place was not very busy the service was awful. Clearly trying to make the food last all night due...to the tiny portions given out! Will not return.More

I have since returned to the Waggoners with some friends. The main reason for our visit was drinks and a catch up however we ended up ordering a combo sharing platter and some sides too all of which tasted great. The staff were very friendly...and welcoming and engaged in conversation with us for some time. Great pub, very friendly staff and fab food. Will continue to return!More

Myself and my family of 5 attended on Sunday and ordered the three course carvery. The bar was very busy on arrival but the staff where very friendly and I didn’t mind waiting. I had the prawn cocktail starter followed by the carvery both of...which I can’t fault and the carvery meat was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be re-visiting the Waggoners, lovely food and great service.More

Waiting time for food was the longest we've ever had and after confronting the manageress about the waiting time she was so arrogant and actually argued with us creating a scene. We actually left without getting our food although we had paid for it. We...will never be going back there.More

The staff, the locals, the food and of course the beer. Very entertaining pub where everyone knows your name. Cheers.

visited last week as a part of a family of 5. Thought we'd give it a go after its recent refurbishment. Where have the old staff gone? the new seem disinterested and to be honest just plain rude. Everything seemed to be too much trouble...and when we asked to speak to the manageress, we were told she was too busy to see us. We spotted her chatting to the bar staff about something that was clearly more interesting than us - gins or something.. The worst part is that the food wasn't that bad but we shall not be visiting again even if you paid us!!!!!More

This is a traditional pub serving traditional pub food. The staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty. I would certainly consider it again if I was in the area.

This is our local. Whether you want a good pint our great food, just call in. The Sunday carvery is unbeatable, both for quality and price, with very large portions! We like it so much, we had our Wedding reception here last week! Everyone commented...on the food and great staff.More
