Family breakfast for about 8 people. Staff put two tables together so we could all sit together. Wide selection of breakfast fare. I chose the hillbilly skillet and it was very nice. Eggs were ordered over medium, but came with runny whites.

I have been to a lot of breakfast diners and asked for sunny-side up eggs with crispy edges, for years, and it wasn't till Poppa's place that my order came out right. Don't come to this place on a diet, though. Come to medicate yourself on leptin hormones.

This is a great little place to go and have fish. They have wonderful fish fry's on Friday nights. The food is always served with great service. Place is warm and inviting. Great place also for home cooked Specials.

Brother inlaw and I stopped in for a late night dinner. It was a half hour before closing. We both ordered a hot beef sandwich which came with mashed potatoes/gravy. I think because it was close to closing, we received a mountain of potatoes. However the food was just warm and the gravy tasted like it just came out of... More

Great home cooking greasy spoon spot. Love the breakfasts in particular! They have great oatmeal, eggs benedict, omelets, and their own skillets that are amazing.

Poppa's has a little something for everyone. They have daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials. The staff is courteous and friendly. Leave room for a slice of one their home made apple pies.

Home-cooked food with a very nice selection of eggs, omelets, pancakes, and pastries. The restaurant is small and would not easily accommodate a large group, but they were extremely nice and would do their best.

I've read some of the reviews, particularly the ones complaining of small place, batting flies, etc. Not sure what you were expecting when you saw the place from the outside but it's exactly what we thought. Small, crapped and delicious! Country omelet was perfection and the cinnamon rolls were fantastic. If you're not looking for a "hole in the wall"... More

We recently moved to area and wanted to take in some local restaurants. Place always seemed crowded when we drove by. You won't be wowed by the surroundings but the food is great and priced right! They have different offerings other than traditional "breakfasts". Really good, lots of it, and well priced. Looking forward to more meals in the future!!!

Food was average. The place was crowded with tables but not people. The people there seemed to know each other. More like an Elk Lodge. The waitress was okay but seemed to want to hurry us out of there. Almost like a beginning of a horror movie.
