I had a really nice breakfast at Bridgeport Cracker Barrel but there were a few burn marks on the pancakes. My server offered to get me new ones if needed. I just cut off a few burn marks with my fork, not the end of...the world. I enjoyed it.More
I would not even give this place a 1 because we never got to eat
Called 4 times no one answered. Walked there from the hotel we were staying at to place a to go order
The cashier said to see hostess. No problem. After...waiting about 5 min the hostess came and seated other people then came back and said he couldn't take sm order and the to go person had already left for the night
Asked if someone else could take our to go order he said no. Asked for manage after waiting 10 more minutes he never showed. So we left and ate a pack of crackers for supperMore
Big reason I chose my hotel was because it was next to a Cracker Barrel. It is my go to spot on the road. Food is always good with friendly service. Since Covid I prefer to order online for pickup and just eat in my...room. This time, I couldn’t order food online. Kept getting error messages. So I had to just go over there.
Having to order something to go in person wasn't too bad. The wait wasn’t too long. The only issue I had was one of older women cashiering got a bit pissy as I was browsing for last minute souvenirs. Apparently she didn't know I was waiting on my food and thought I was shoplifting. Got one of those cranky CAN I HELP YOU where they don't want to actually help you. Just want you to pay already lol.
Got a cold grape Nehi (love their selection of old time sodas) and a book about Saginaw. The cashier who actually rang me up was new but nice. Food was very good. My first night I had chicken fried steak. The next night I was able to order online so I didn't have to hang out in the store. Got a hamburger patty with fries. Splurged on cola cake which was really good too.More
We were on a trip to Frankenmuth and wanted something a bit different for lunch we got there about 10:30 a.m. And we were given breakfast menus, I didn't want breakfast I wanted lunch......our server was Jennifer W and she was very nice, she apologized...for the wait saying the entire dining room was open but there were only 4 servers because they can't find anyone who wants to work, we were in no hurry so we waited the 15 minutes till lunch menu was available, however it looked like a way smaller menu then I remembered from a couple years ago when I was there, seemed like the selection was way less and the menu was much larger. We opted for the cheeseburger and chicken BLT sandwich both with steak fries, both sandwichs were huge and they had great flavor.
Jennifer was so busy she was never able to refill our drinks so when she brought our bill she also brought us to go drinks and apologized again for wait. I felt badly for her as she was busy and running her butt off, so we left her an extra tip for all she was doing with her tables keeping up, I too am a server and know first hand how hard waitressing can be when short handed.....
Cracker Barrel also has a great little gift shop, a bit pricey but adorable items.More
Cracker Barrel is always my go to place when enjoying breakfast and dinner when enjoying time with my family. My favorites pecan pancakes , hot apples and dumplings.
Pleasant atmosphere and great service.
Definently a place to enjoy great food and excellent staff
Bad weather found us at a not very busy restaurant on a Friday night. My girl had breakfast, I had dinner and both of us agreed the food seemed old. My french fries (I had fish and chips) were soft and tasted like they had...been under a heat lamp for half an hour. She had breakfast and her sausage and grits were both tough! She didn't finish either one. My last two visits to cracker barrel have been less than ok. I may be avoiding this franchise for a while..More
