We went out for dinner in town, late, in USA is difficult. Modern and relaxed atmosphere, reasonable service. Modern food, alleged author, median, but reasonable given the time and the fact that we are in a small village in the countryside. Share squids, then eat fried chicken and shrimps grilled, modern presentation, reasonable flavour; with a bottle of wine cost... More

The food here is culinary restaurant quality. The staff were very formal for a bar setting but that was ok. I had fried chicken which was excellent and unlike any I have had before. It came with mashed potatoes and kale. The kale was a little dry. I had the small portion of ice cream for dessert.

This was our second trip and the beer flight has been excellent both times. Knowledgeable staff give good recommendations and there is good diversity of beers and a few ciders on tap. Food is generally creative, with local items. Well-plated, appropriate portion sizes so you can still fit dessert.

Possibly the best burger I've ever eaten. I've eaten a lot of burgers! The beer list was long and a bit esoteric. The server wasn't too knowledgeable about the beers, but they let me taste some to make my decision. I loved this place.

It was a Sunday night; there was no atmosphere and we were the last ones in there at 9:30. The steak was warm and not hot for both of us and had to be sent back. The coffee machine was cleaned so we couldn't have the coffee of our choice. We were disappointed for an upmarket restaurant to be a... More

Fresh, creative food. Good selection of beer and wine. Outside seating for good weather. There are other good restaurants in Williamstown too. I'd suggest looking at the menu online.

Nice restaurant, food was very good, staff was very friendly. Three of us had the Hops Burger - delicious and cooked perfectly. Stopped here on our way to the local museums. Would recommend and would return.

A recent Saturday night (9.19), dining room only half full at normal tables, plus 2 large parties (which presumably were booked in advance). Our appetizers took 1 hour and 10 mins to arrive, then another long lag before entrees. Hostess breezed through a couple of times to apologize for the wait but took no other action like a round of...
