About
The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.

Just stopped in for a quick drink before dinner. Nice pub! Good, college atmosphere! There was a table of coaches and another table of what appeared to be professors. Fairly good beer and wine selection. Didn’t try the food, but the choices looked tasty. It...More

This was not my 1st visit and won't be my last! I usually sit at the bar, have a burger, salad, or salmon BLT all great! I really like this pub and am only in the area at lunch time, but would like to have...More

We have been coming to the Purple Pub for years and food and service have been inconsistent but never as bad as last night! French Dip Sandwich was not thinly sliced beef but chunks of sour smelling meat served with a greasy dipping sauce, I.e....More

This is where we lunch when we visit Williamstown, MA. We like the great variety of food choices on the menu. The service is also great. Our visit yesterday was made enjoyable due to our waitress, Cindy W. Most always I get a cup of...More

A quick trip out of town to concentrate on shopping brought us to this delight. Bustling at 2pm, our waitress, Stefani, treated us like gold. An above average veggie burger & interesting turkey & apple panini fueled us for the rest of the day. We...More

It was a rainy icy day when the Missus and me popped in before noon. The place has just opened and was deserted, but a fire was already crackling in the fireplace. The ambiance was delightful, with just enough natural light, supplanted my appropriately dimmed...More

Wife and I have been there twice, and have been pleased both times. Great for burgers, panninis, and related pub-style food. Obviously, not 'fine dining' - it is a pub in a college town, but it's a good pub. Location is set back from the...More

Had a pretty good lunch here, about what you would expect for a college brew pub, good service, and not too many other choices in the neighborhood

When we were there in October there were many family groups with school-age children because they were having a weekly game night and many kids and parents actively participated in the obviously popular game.
