In Williamstown for summer theater. There was ample warning I didn't heed because the waitress had a very pleasant personality. Table tops sticky, she said due to humidity. Appetizer came out with the main course, strike one. We ordered fish tacos and dish and chips....More

We've been to this Pub on every occasion we visit the Clark Institute in Williamstown. We like the food and friendly staff. Typically I give this Pub a five star review. On this visit, the table was not clean, nor were the chairs at this...More

Had a great lunch here with family - excellent hostess and wait staff. Nice addition to the area. Offered inside and outside dining and nice variety of food.

I dined at The Purple Pub's outdoor cafe yesterday. They spot a chalkboard full of draft microbrew selections. I decided to go with fish and chips -- available large or small. Fortunately, I asked the waitress about sizes and she strongly suggested the small. Good...More

I went with my teenaged son expecting a limited menu of fried everything. It was better than that. I had a salad with a lot of vegetables and grilled salmon. The salmon was a little overcooked but I'm grateful that they had a wider range...More

W had a very early dinner here. I would not visit again. The dining is limited in this town, but perhaps this is a better bar than restaurant. My daughter ordered a warm triple decker sandwich with fries. I ordered the burrata with tomatoes. (See...More

A nice menu and attentive staff made this a nice choice. We met some nice students from Clark and had a pleasant conversation. Everyone was friendly. The food was typical bar food and it was delicious.

Easy location if you are staying in Williamstown. I wouldn't go out of our way to eat here, but it's fun.

Very friendly and helpful staff, bland and uninspired food. Not bad tasting food, but we were a group of around 12 and not one person commented on the food.

When we were there in October there were many family groups with school-age children because they were having a weekly game night and many kids and parents actively participated in the obviously popular game.

The Purple Pub has been the place to gather in Williamstown since 1973, serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Whether you're looking for traditional pub food or delicious entrees, we have you covered. Patrons can drink and dine at the large mahogany bar or in the comfort of the semi-private dining room. Come watch the game on one of our large screen televisions or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Don't forget to try one of our 14 draft beers (we have bottled beer too), served in a frosted glass.
