What a gem of a restaurant off the beaten path. Enjoy the view, the ducks and the swans. The food was very tasty. I had the Haddock Seafood casserole with a crusty top...yummy! It was filling but did not include potato, veg or salad. However, they served the meals with extra delicious pecan rolls, corn fritters and warm white rolls.... More

The view is awesome. The food is always great. Prices are good. Service is adequate. The fritters are a meal all by themselves!

Very attractive and rustic restaurant. Apparently it was really an old mill? Right on a diverted stream. We went for the Easter Brunch which was packed, however they seemed to do a great job as we were seating right on time. Pretty large building, it was a brunch with a nice variety and we enjoyed the food. It has events... More

The menu has a nice selection, the pecan rolls, corn fritters and dinner rolls are so delicious I usually fill up on them and take most of my meal home!

Had dinner on a Saturday night with another couple. Made a reservation, and requested a specific area of the restaurant (overlooking the pond). Hostess had the reservation and readily accommodated us with exactly what we asked for. Food was excellent, and service good. As evening progressed dining room filled (actually was full to crowded). Service slowed a touch, but server... More

Always liked this place, very historic... the pecan rolls are the signature product. My grandma worked here. I think this place is part of Americana... a must do if you visit this area. The food is very good solid New England fare. The atmosphere is unique. As a child I fed the ducks in the duck pond with leftover bread...... More

This restaurant is a total flashback. The menu is simple, but a nice array of New England dishes. Not fancy or expensive. Fish with ritz cracker topping, clam chowder, caesar salad. But the best part is the old fashioned dinner and pecan rolls. The setting is pretty cool, having to cross a foot bridge across the river with about 100... More

The fish and chips was very good . The free breads were outstanding. Always seems busy - so do not be surprised if you need to wait. We will go again...

We recently visited this restaurant for the 1st time. The food was nothing to brag about - just average. The pecan rolls served before dinner are excellent. We ordered calamari which I felt was over cooked. My Rubin Sandwich did not have enough thousand island dressing and the corn beef was tough. My husband had steak which he said was... More

My family and I had lunch here recently. We had the Irish Nachos, the Filet Mignon, the Stuffed Hancock, and Chicken Fingers. We enjoyed the pecan rolls and corn fritters that come with every meal very much. My husband's filet was cooked perfectly and he had a tossed salad and rice pilaf as sides. I had the stuffed haddock and... More
