The weather was not good enough to trek all the way to our traditional sugar house breakfast at Goulds. So, we tried Pomeroy for the first time. We went to Pomeroy Sugar House for the first time today and it will not be the last. This is a very well set up traditional New England sugar house. The have a good menu and very fair prices. Traveler or local this is a New England must do. A wonderful family owned and run real Sugar House. Bring the whole family children to grandparents. I brought a couple of friends here for breakfast and we loved the relaxed atmosphere. The staff makes you feel like family and the pancakes and syrup were incredible!! I can't wait to go back again.

I brought my kids here to see a sugar house since we live in the area. It's a nice family owned business but the interior is very well done with rustic woods and booths surrounding a beautiful glassed room containing a vat of heaven, I means maple syrup.
