In the title, it says it's a diner, but the food and atmosphere are definitely not. It's not that the food was bad, but it's not what I'd expected. Definitely overpriced and it's more complicated food choices than a more simple diner menu. More of a hipster joint.

When you drive by this place you see a diner and might think, how good could it be? Not a drive by! I was impressed with the menu and the beer offerings. We started with a couple of apps. We chose the Rhode Island style calamari which had a good kick with the cherry peppers and vinegar. Next was the... More

Charles Foster Kane might not have had good memories of this "Rosebud," the Rosebud Kitchen and Bar (the old Rosebud Diner); the tables would not be loooooong and the setting regal enough for Kane, but we plebeians will have excellent memories of Rosebud. The St. Louis Ribs ($18.95 for 1/2 rack) were succulent and zesty, although a bit dry in... More

Had a fabulous meal at Rosebud. The fried Brussels sprouts is a must-order appetizer. All of our entrees--the fish and chips, the ribs and the jambalaya--were all delicious. The beer selection is terrific and I highly recommend the Allagash Curieux. And do not leave without ordering a slice of the pear and cranberry pie.

4 of us went for brunch today. We had a reservation and were sat down. immediately. Totally enjoyed it!! I had a blood orange mimosa and the veggie skillet. Hubby had the western omelet. He thought it was great. He liked the salad. He was sorry we ordered the mimosas. The only negative was that 2 people's food came out... More

I LOVE the Rosebud. We are there a couple of times a month and have yet to be disappointed. For brunch my favorite is the Summer St. Cobb and their homemade doughnuts. Dinner favorite is the burger, fried pickles, and the half and half (onion rings + french fries). Service is fantastic and atmosphere is great.

We had brunch on Saturday at this restaurant. The decor is fun, industrial chic. The food is familiar with a twist. A bit of southern influence with biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles on the menu. I had the southern benny and my husband had an omelette with linguica and manchego cheese. Both were excellent and large portions! I recommend... More

I've eaten here a bunch of times over the years, but more often since I discovered their Sunday brunch. Pancakes. Brown Sugar Bacon. Need I say more? I do, actually, want to emphasize that the pancakes are truly perfect -- exactly the right amount of fluffiness and moisture. Sturdy enough to hold up to spreading butter and tender enough to... This place is a historic landmark that was recently renovated and is a great place to go for comfort food and local flavor. We went for Sunday Brunch and enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Opened in 1941, the restaurant has retained its original charm.

I have been the the Rosebud many times, and have always had amazing food and good service! The pulled pork sandwich and the catfish sandwich are especially good! The beer selection is also quite excellent!
