Unfortunately, it was not very quick, and not anything special. The staff is pleasant, the place basic as most local pizza places are, we were not impressed with the length of time it took to get one sub and one salad when there was only...one other customer at the time. We've been getting hamburger and onion pizzas from Pizza World for over 40 years! Reading's version is excellent. We ask for it cooked light because we prefer a softer crust. They always do a great job.

I like the pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and onion. (A nice glass of red wine) They also have a wonderful chicken kabob dinner. Enjoy!!

Good authentic Greek pizza - huge pieces. The chicken, fries, and subs are great as well. Very friendly staff. Good relatively inexpensive weekday lunch deal of two slices of pizza and a drink for around $6.

This is my favorite place in Reading for pizza. Everyone is friendly. They all look like they are having a good time working there. My favorite is the Greek Pizza. (It even has artichokes!)

We frequent this restaurant as it has Greek Pizza and it is quick. Last night we ordered take out: small olive and onion pizza and a chicken kabob salad ($19.08 total) The pizza, IMO, is above average. Ingredients are fresh, there is a lot of...cheese, the dough is thick and crispy and it is cooked just right. The chicken kabob salad is to die for. A greek salad mix of lettuce, cukes, tomato, onion, whole black olives, green peppers and feta topped woth chunks of marinated and gilled chicken along with roasted peppers and onions. Truly a delight to eat. You can order with or without pita pocket (which is thicker than your usual pita and is served warm making me believe they make it right there). Also comes with greek dressing. Oh so yummy. Parking can be tough as it is located in the downtown area which has onstreet parking only. It is always busy here but wait time for food preparation is usually uner 15 minutes. They offer free delivery in Reading.More

Pizza World used to have delicious pizza. I don't know what happened here but their pizza isn't as good as it used to be. They can be a busy place since they have an extensive menu beyond just pizza. The usual fare that you find...at a place like this: subs, salads, chicken fingers, etc. Parking can be tough since they don't have a parking lot. To be fair, the only place in Reading that serves good pizza is Bertuccis about 2 miles away.More

The best Italian sub you will ever have. Hands down. The meat is always so fresh the vegetables so fresh. The fact that they toast it to perfection just adds to how good this sub really is!!! Pizza World is great if you want a nice sized sub or pizza. They do what many other sub shops don't, toast your sub. I highly recommend the 'Gold Fever Sub', I don't believe it is on the menu so you have to ask for...it: chicken fingers, gold fever bbq sauce, american cheese, and bacon. They also have some of the best delivery drivers ever.More
