We were visiting friends at the Cape in the middle of October. The weather was great and they suggested we drive to Provincetown. We have not been there for many years and were just amazed at all the people walking the town. It was lunch time when we arrived and they took us right to the Lobster Pot. I have... More

Ate here a couple times. The seafood is great and the service attentive. It's a busy vibrant place which is fun but don't come here for an intimate evening out.

A few weeks ago we rented a great house in P-town but one day we were just tired of making sandwiches so we decided to go to the Lobster Pot for lunch. We have been going to the Cape for over 30 years and have always wanted to try it. It is infamous in Provincetown, right near MacMillan Wharf of... More

We knew it was a slow time of the year to visit P-Town. After walking the town for a few hours, we decided to grab lunch at The Lobster Pot. We had clam chowder, oysters on the half shell and Lobster Avocado Cocktail. Everything was terrific, wait staff was great.

You would think this place is tiny, judging by the exterior, but it's long and very popular. We ate an early dinner in preparation for the Sunset Dune Tour and the place was bustling at 3PM. The warm lobster roll was delicious and my only regret is that we didn't have time to linger.

My husband and I had lunch on a late October day. The restaurant was busy but the service was quick and efficient. Some fun bread to eat while waiting for the food to arrive. My husband had the shrimps and fries and I had two appetisers as my entree - the scallops in the shell and clams. All our dishes... More

This is a really good seafood restaurant in P-town & it gets tons of customers so it's really popular....but that also means it's very crowded & noisy. The lobster is generally more expensive than at other local spots but like most places in P-town the food is good. For us, it's simply too noisy and too crowded, to have a... More

Larger than looks from front, homey beach place atnosphere. Lobster thermodore: lobster was chewey/dry and way too many crumbs on top, sauce was tasty. Accompanying orzo mushy/bland. Hot buttered lobster roll: bread dry, didn't seem to have melted butter on top, lobster meat dry/chewey. Lobster, although ample amount was flavorless w/ just a bit of sauce in middle of bun,...
