We had the brussels sprouts which were burnt and we just didn't care for them. I thought about ordering the lobster roll- until I saw one- very small and didn't smell fresh. I had the 2 tacos- pulled pork in one and battered cod in...More

I came to Providence for the day and happened upon this place. It's not your usual fan fare and that's exactly why I loved it. The Cod Bahn Mi was a wonderful and tasty surprise. Also try the Brussel sprouts and lobster roll

We ate lunch here 2 days in a row because the food was great and the prices were reasonable! The roasted brussel sprouts were a treat, but the chicken pot pie? NOM. Go. You won't regret it!

Visited Canteen as trip advisor ranked #1... worst clam chowder, soggy miso Cesar salad, cold fish tacos. Service was ok. Great location. Fun indoor and outdoor seating.

Tried the hot lobster rolls for the first time. They were very good, however, the cold ones we had in Maine were better. Enjoyed sitting outside watching the boats go by.

Awesome little place with a nice backyard to enjoy a drink and good food by the beach. The staff is young and very welcoming. We liked the frose and the pulled pork sandwich most. You should definitely check out this place!

This popular seafood spot is along Commercial St, not far from the pier, and I was hoping to enjoy it but it's just not very good. We had the lobster roll, plenty of lobster, but the bun was warmish-cool. The fish tacos, were fried and...More

No reservations. Picnic table style seating. It might look like you won't get a seat, but you will! :)
