We do the Cape in the off season and this is our "go to" place for lunch and brunch. In season it is popular and crowded. The food is great. The crowds are greater. It is your call as to whether to brave the line.

Farland is a Provincetown institution (and open year round, unlike most places in this town where the population swells in season and dwindles to a couple of thousand in the winter). Great choices of sandwiches at reasonable prices. Sweet treats of all sorts. Wine, beer,...More

Reasonable (in this town at the end of the world) and yummy and consistent. We locals rely on Farland. I do stay away in the tourist season because it is just too too packed (for good reason.)

Far Lands by far has the best gift baskets in Ptown. I have called spur of the moment and they were always accomodating. Baskets range from $$ to $$$$ depending on how big and what you want in them. Will always be my first choice...More

We to pick up a couple a sandwiches to eat at the beach. I had a Cubano, my wife had a chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. Freshly prepared with great ingredients. It made for nice lunch at the beach.

What sides are offered with sandwiches... fries, chips... etc How about at the Herring Cove Beach location... We plan on being there Sept 7-9 (staying near Hyannis)... Spend the whole day to P'town and back on Sept 8... Starting with leisurely breakfast at Keltic Kitchen in Yarmouth,,, Drive to P'town... Stretch our legs for a bit Commercial Street near the Pier... Pack a picnic lunch from your Bradford Street store... Drive the length of Commercial Street to P'town Inn... Enjoy the Province Lands, dunes and all... and enjoy picnic lunch at Herring Cove Beach... Continue on towards Race Point / Visitor's Center... Leisurely drive back with stops at Marconi Beach etc Haven't been to the Cape in some 40 years... Visiting family in Boston area over the Labor Day weekend Any thoughts and/or ideas

Sounds like a great day. I didn't go to Herring Cove Beach - I think Race Point is a little quieter, and more sand dune-y, which is what we wanted. We were there late afternoon, could not have been better, sun was sinking... More

Do you carry Against the Grain Gourmet products? We are completely grain free and will be in Ptown in July. Thank you!
