We've been going there for at least 6 or 7 years. They offer everything from seafood to Italian to classic American dishes like steak and chops. The seafood is amazingly fresh and well-prepared--may be the very best seafood anywhere in SE MA/N RI. We brought friends there and I told him this was the best chicken parm anywhere. He ordered... This is a great restaurant. Piano player on the weekend and a lively crowd. The food is delicious and reasonable.

Wanting to stay local on a Friday night after a long week, four of us decided to try the Tavern. We ourselves are "gray-hairs," but we were definitely some of the youngest diners on this particular night, even at 6:30! If you are going, I strongly suggest calling ahead, as this meant we only waited 20 minutes instead of at... More

For several years now I have been coming here with a group from our Shrine in Boston. We go to the nearby outlets and then come here for their fantastic Sunday Brunch! Then we go to the Shrine in Attleboro to see the lights. The food here is consistently terrific!! From the soups of the day to their specialties -... More

I'vehad a coupon from restaurant.com for some time so thought we'd try the place tonight. Arrived early around 5:20 and the bar was full and looked like no one would be leaving anytime soon so we sat at a table in the pub. One side near the piano smelled musty so we moved to the other side where th fireplace... More

The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. The wait staff was efficient but a bit slow. Dinner was okay. Had Seared Salmon that was delicious. The burger was simple and not the best quality. The Bacardi and Coke was very strong but the other drinks were good. We went on a Friday night and it was full but not crowded and... More

Vent here a Saturday night, place was quite full but we got a table for two quickly. The menu offers the standard American restaurant selection of burgers, sandwiches, pasta, soups, meat etc. They also offer a nice selection of dinner specials, sadly was a number of them sold out this night. Food is good and well prepared but for us... More

First off, the restaurant is beautiful on the inside and provides a wonderful atmosphere. There is a large selection of breakfast foods available that varies so you don't always get the same things. My favorite are the cheese blintzes! There's also a nice selection of other foods, some of which are made to order - I think it was chicken... More

Visited here for Father's Day brunch to try it out. Place does not look like much on the outside sitting on desolate Route 1 in Plainville on the way to Attleboro on a large lake. Once you step inside you will feel like you stepped inside a late seventies/early eighties old school restaurant complete with exposed wood beams, white Xmas... More

Description
First opened January 2, 1996 the Tavern quickly came to be a staple for the locals and a destination for the out of town visitors. Between the homey and inviting atmosphere created in the light of the warmth of our home and the delectable dishes presented with portions true to the meaning of home cooking hospitality, it is no wonder that the Tavern From Tower Square remains on the map as one of the areas most consistent, most affordable and most enjoyable restaurants to enjoy day after day, year after year.
