For my birthday this year, my family set up a social-distanced private screening at the local theater, and when the movie was over, we were looking for a safe, fun, tasty place to grab a bite to eat. El Huipil's outdoor seating was the perfect...find! I had a strawberry margarita and quesadillas with chicken - both delicious! Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. (visited 11/7/20)More
This is a cozy place tucked away just off Main Street. Authentic decor and diverse menu - something for everyone including Vegetarians. We enjoyed the food but wish my dish had been brought out hotter.. Music on a Saturday night is a nice touch.
We have been going to this fabulous restaurant since we moved to the town. The staff is kind and efficient. We feel like family when we go, my children love one waitress in particular, and she indulges them with huge hugs each time.
The food...is fantastic. I miss the sopa Azteca, but the chili rellanos, spicy shrimp, and the churros are just fantastic. The tamales are delicious. Combine your dishes with a margarita, you won’t regret it.
This is the only place I will get a flavored margarita over a traditional. Try the strawberry, thank me later.More
We sat outside on a pleasant evening. We waited half an hour for a menu and then another 20 for water and drinks. After ordering our food we waited another 45 minutes to finally begin our dinner. It was fine. Certainly not worth the wait...and during this time our water was never refilled. Yes, it was a Friday evening and they were busy but we will not be going back.More

Yep, in business and, as noted by another reviewer, expanding. But do check for some closed days. Last time we checked on a Monday in July, they posted a closed for the day sign on the front door. Next day, lunch there for all 7 of us as usual.
