Great staff that took time and care for each customer. Not the best food and okay prices but family loved it.

I missed the Hyannis restaurant…then we remembered Mashpee, not our neck of the woods, but when you have a craving…and it did not disappoint…friendly staff, clean, and the food was delicious…from the fish n chips to the clam strip platter and the onion rings…yum! It...was just as i remembered…maybe even better….tarter sauce in a bottle, GENUIS!More
I was looking forward to eating great lobster on the Cape. We knew we had to order at the counter but felt a lot of pressure to make decisions. We didn’t see the prices posted. We both ordered the 8 oz. lobster rolls which came...with French fries (quite good) and coleslaw (Very good). I ordered a glass of white wine. The bill came to $120. The lobster roll -- plentiful but tasteless. Really goos lobster has a slightly sweet taste to it. The people who bring your order to the table have to work really hard and are very pleasant. This was our first dinner on the Cape. Today we ate at Estia. Also a disappointment. Five more to go and hopeful to find really good lobster!More
We have tried this place a few times to see if it was consistently bad. Sadly, it was. Twice I've had fish that had the bitter taste of old frozen stuff that's been sitting around to long. The last time we ate there my wife...was served an unidentified frying object with an odd uncooked lump at one end. We brought this to the attention of the manager who offered to give us a "credit" for our next visit, fully knowing we weren't from the area. If they had really cared they would have given us refund.More
Four of us ate. Stand in line to order and please, no questions about what you are ordering, we expect you to know. Pay for it and we will bring it over when we are done. No hi top seating except at the bar, which...is closed to seating. Light battering and oil is the best part. Bland whole belly clams not from the Cape is the worst. They drop it off at your table and that is the last you see of them. No wonder Hyannis went out of business. HUGE TRASH GENERATOR, as they only wash the plastic cups and glasses. Par at best, and par can be one small step above sub-parMore
We drove to Cooke’s based on a recommendation. Their big claim to fame is that they are often voted “best fried clams” on the Cape. The clams were not anything special. They were your typical fried clams. Their onion rings were subpar and chicken tenders...seemed like they were frozen, from a box. The portions and prices were nothing special. The consensus of our group of 7 was that, we tried a new place and we probably wouldn’t go back again.More
The food was average except for the lobster roll. If you don't get one you're missing out. Best one I tasted the entire week anywhere on the Cape. Otherwise, it's deep-fried seafood done pretty well. Cafateria style ordering. The place was clean, the staff was...very friendly and the prices were fair for the area. If I wanted a Lobster roll that's where I'd go.More
Went this evening for dinner. Got there about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. There were three gals working. One of them was nice, another was just going through the motions, and the third one (with red/purple dyed hair), was clearly annoyed that customers were...still coming in. We watched her roll her her eyes as every new customer came in as closing time approached. Overall, the food was average. The fish my husband had tasted frozen, (we just assumed it would be fresh). The restaurant was VERY clean :). And Connor, another employee, was really awesome, friendly, professional, helpful, and clearly made us feel like we were valued customers. He really made our experience, (as brief as it was), happy and took away the sting of the treatment by some of the gals that we had experienced earlier. As a matter of fact, as we were leaving, Conor yelled from across the restaurant to us to have a good night. He’s definitely someone you want representing Cooke’s.More
We were looking for a different place to eat on our first night in Cape Cod, found Cooke's and had a wonderful seafood meal. It is a bit on the pricey side, but if you are looking for good seafood, this is your spot.
Fast, fabulous, fresh fish! We both had the fish taco lunch special with fries, and we loved it! Served piping hot as were the coffee and tea. The restaurant was spacious, immaculate and had easily visible directions so you knew where you could go with...virus restrictions. Overall: excellent!More
