The food blew me away. I had the Aji Amarillo Salmon. It was served in a bowl with vegetables and potatoes. It was a dinner size portion with leftovers to take back to the hotel. The prices reflect a dinner size meal but it fit...my plan for a bigger meal at lunch. I wish I had taken a picture of my entree to post. I plan on making a second visit here during my vacation. Service was attentive.More

There is an extensive menu, including food for vegetarians, which were three out of the four of us. My fish soup was very good with lots of fish, however it was not inexpensive. My husband’s veggie burger was not served hot. Otherwise everyone enjoyed their...food. Service was reactively quick as the place was pretty full.More

The food was excellent. We each loved our dinners. Server/hostess was friendly and helpful. The place was packed. We got there just before the place was full but at no time was the sound too loud for conversation. We will be back!

I make Peruvian chicken better than this. It was dry and pretty tasteless. The fries were not fresh cut and were mealy and not crisp. The other three entrees were okay, but not great. There was only one server on a Saturday night, and that's...epidemic these days, but if your customers have to wait 45 minutes for their dinners, at least put some bread or chips on the table. Overall, a waste of money and time. We paid cash because we had already waited 20 minutes to get the bill and didn't want to waste the rest of the night waiting for the credit card receipt.More

In one of those ‘serendipity’ moments, we happened upon this restaurant and got seated just before a rush of customers filled every remaining seat. The food was excellent! I had the Shrimp Paella - absolutely scrumptious! And my wife had Shrimp in Garlic Sauce -...equally delicious. And the plating was excellent, which made it a feast for the eyes as well! My only (minor) complaint was that service was a bit slow, as they only had one server on who had to wait tables as well as fix drinks. Unfortunately, too many places are dealing with a staffing shortage. The excellence of the food made the wait worth it!More

We differed. I would go back because I listened to the waitress's recommendation and enjoyed my dinner. My husband didn't like his dinner. So probably the two of us would not go back.

Have been coming here for years even thru the pandemic . The food is fine I’ve had better and worse Peruvian food But they are so short staffed being ignored while seated at the table before one orders-well that just tops the list of insulting...behaviour Raising prices to make money - gotta do Also gotta raise wages and job conditions Because this is the last time I am walking in here around dinner time and being seated and ignored as happened to us .No place is worth this type of insulting treatmentMore

This was a first-time visit for my wife, my mother-in-law and me. We like to eat healthy, and there are plenty of menu options to do that. But tonight we let down our collective guards a little bit to sample a wider variety of what...the kitchen can make. We shared three dishes among us, and were very satisfied. We left only a couple of bites worth of food on the plates when we reached our capacity. Talking about the dishes, the seafood ceviche was outstanding. A large serving with big chunks of seafood with diced veggies in a light and refreshing sauce, this dish was both a flavour monster and a great amuse-bouche to refresh the palate after tastes of our other two dishes. The seafood cau cau was like a seafood stew in a thick beige sauce, served on a plate beside a mound of white rice. The flavour was mild and represented a mixture of spices that none of us had tasted before. We were “bad” with our third dish, the fried seafood platter for two. We were bad, but the dish was good, very, very good. As you can see from the photo, it is a mountainous pile of lightly fried clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp and fish served over a bed of fried plantain, coupled with a light, Green Goddess-like dipping sauce. What a treat! The service was pleasant. The decor was uninspiring. But the food made us commit to return visits.More

As residents nearby for many years, this was on our regular list. We returned after two years away. They are seriously short staffed A broiled chicken was served burnt and dried out. Seafood paella portion instead of an expected price increase became a smaller portion....They were totally out of Flan, their most popular desert by 5PM on Saturday. There. was a $7 charge on the bill for a. desert that was never ordered and never served. We will find a new place for paella.More

Just because it's a Peruvian restaurant, don't ignore some of the other items on the menu. Clam chowder is not something you would expect, but I would say it's among the best in the world. The food in general is excellent. We tend to go...just for the octopus appetizer and then go from there working our way through the menu. Now the clam chowder has been added to the must list.More

Dropped in for lunch and had planned to return for a supper until a snowstorm changed our plans. Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. The food is fresh and so flavourful - Maribel made sure we were taken care of. Beer is cold, coffee was...hot. We ordered Mussels (choros a la Chalaca) which was an excellent start as well as Papa a la Huancaina followed by the Seafood and Fish Soup - we will remember it for a very long time...so delicious and also Lomo Saltado. Such a great way to warm up on a grey, winter day. If we could go back again, we definitely will Drop in and enjoy a taste of Peru.More
