The doghouse is now Brookside after they had a fire awhile back. The inside has changed for the better I would say. Large bar, good pub food and lots of beers to choose from. Lots of seating around the bar area and then theres a separate section with more seating away from the bar area. Family friendly although make sure... More

We stopped in as it has been on our list of places to try. They have a decent draft beers but we're out of Shipyard.....bummer. Server wasn't overly friendly but did a good job. We split the sampler platter and honestly had to napkin press the excess grease off it! Yes I know thing fried are greasy but this was... More

Food mediocre at best. Nothing to really rave about. Service, the three times we've been there was horrible. You might ask why three times, well the first was the first week they opened and we chalked it up to opening jitters. The next two were to see if it got better - it didn't. We won't go back again.

After the Doghouse was destroyed by fire, the owners rebuilt and opened a new restaurant named The Brookhouse .My wife and I had a great lunch there the other day. The new place is nicely designed, with both tables and booths plus a bar area. We both enjoyed a chicken parm sandwich which was the lunch special for that day.... More

Very average, not great, not poor. I'd only stop in again if I really needed a takeout on my way home. I ordered an upgraded size dog but got the regular size. It was a pretty simple order and it was not busy but the hired help still couldn't get it right.... frustrating. Dog was what you would expect. Homemade... More

Came here on a Thursday night, sat at a high top in the bar area and got the prime rib. The rib was delish and was only 10 bucks for a hefty size rib. Stayed for the DJ and danced. The bartenders cleared the dining room tables out and we just danced all night. It was pretty packed and we... More

We went there for dinner one Thursday night and the service was slow, terrible, and on top of that, the food made me and my boyfriend feel lousy. This is NOT the place to go if you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and healthy food. There are about 17 televisions in the smallest bar room ever. We stated for dancing but... More

read the previous review and have to agree with everything Eltee said...I was there for that party and what a scene....1 waitress/1 bartender for over 100 people..they knew we were coming there, go figure...2 hour wait for a turkey sandwich then they said there were out of turkey...pay for your food ahead of time and then someone else takes it...
