First off, if you are in a hurry go somewhere else. We have been going there for years. The food is always great and the servers are good. It is best to go there first thing. The food does take a while because it is cooked to order. It is a good atmosphere to have a relaxing breakfast. Our favorites... More

I keep giving Toast a chance every 6 months because the breakfast is really good. The 2 problems are the owner is a miserable person and should not be running the front of the house and her chef(husband) should learn how to cook faster or delegate better. The faces in a restaurant should be happy because the client has come... More

The owner is rude and belittles customers. The food is good, but slow coming out. however the owner is rude and belittling to customers. Will not return due to the owner.

My wife, daughter, and I went to Toast for Sunday Breakfast. Not surprisingly, given the popularity of this restaurant we had to wait for about 20 minutes, and then chose to share a table for 6 with another couple. That was a pleasant experience, the couple is local and we used to live about 20 miles away, so we could... More

This reminded me of an old-style 50's restaurant -- somewhat cluttered and casual, but fun and GREAT food. There's a sign (actually there are MANY signs): If you're in a hurry, you are in the wrong place. Keep that in mind. Seriously. The menu is great: I had smoked salmon eggs Benedict: YUM. I had friends who were annoyed at... More

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. The owner just waved us in to a table and never said a word. We ordered eggs, toast and hash browns. Thirty five minutes went by and still no food... Other customers that came in after us were already served. I asked the owner where our food was because we had been... More

Reminds me of the old Durgin and Park where the waitresses would command you to hurry up with you decision. If you don't mind a gruff welcoming, give it a try. Hash was fantastic.

One of the best Breakfast places on the South Shore of Boston. Burnt Toast is off the dial. French Toast with a Creme Brûlée finish that does not deserve Maple Syrup as the flavor stands alone!

What a great breakfast place..Had to wait 20 minutes outside on Sunday morning, but well worth it...The waitress and staff overall were quite excellent...Poached eggs bagels, eggs benedict, sausage, bacon, crispy hash browns, all excellent. A must breakfast habit when in Hull.

Thank geraldmrb
