Whether lunch or dinner, both the atmosphere and food are very enjoyable. You'll find a beautifully-decorated, open space with several dining room choices offering a very welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a broad spectrum of choices. Irrespective of your selection, your meal is likely to be above your expectations. A wonderful find in the Berkshires!

We dined with a friend from Pittsfield. She had heard the restaurant was good. She was correct, in so far as the food was concerned. Excellent TUNA BENTO BOX and PASTA. The service, on the other hand, was indifferent and impersonal. They never refilled our iced tea or our coffee. They never asked if we enjoyed our food. And they... More

Met friends for a great meal at Cafe Adam. The service was attentive w/out being smothering and interrupting. The food was wonderful...terrific spicy gazpacho, tender beef. Definitely recommend this for a stop in the Berkshires!

Well prepared. Varied menu. Fresh ingredients. Pleasant ambiance. Good service. What more can you ask for? Our party of 5 enjoyed original appetizers, fried chick peas, bursts, and kale Waldorf salad. Entrees included scallops, steak frites, buliabaisse. Was reco by several people as the best meal around. They were right!

We made a reservation at Cafe Adam after reading a great article in the Boston Globe. We were told they only had 8:00 available, but to come early and they may be able to seat us. We went at 7:30 and they seated us immediately. The weather was lovely that evening and we sat by two large windows and enjoyed... More

We have been to Cafe Adam many things and always enjoyed the food and setting. This time, however, the service was awful. While one expects a place like this to take on additional help during the busy summer season, the wait staff was inept and not at al welcoming. When one has a choice of many places to dine the... We've eaten at Cafe Adam when traveling in western Mass, three times in the past five years. Have loved it every time. The new location and ambience are great and the staff well trained in being attentive and professional. Glad to know we can count on this every time.

We were shut out and left to starve after missing our reservation time by a few minutes. Our reservation for 9:00 PM on a Sunday was accepted by phone without any mention of the kitchen closing simultaneously! (Hmmm... how do they do that, when one hasn't even sat down to look at a menu)? The International Film Festival was a... More

Came in with a party of 5 and we were seated in a back room. The staff seemed to forget about us as it took a long time for someone to come to bring water and then aftet anothet long wait take our order. The server took our drink order but then asked for our food order too. My presumption... More

Café Adam has moved to new quarters - well about a year ago. On a recent visit, we sat in the cozy bar area. The bartender waited on the tables and was very friendly. The menu changes, seasonally I think. This time there was nothing exciting on the menu, so maybe we will just wait for the next iteration. We... More
