We arrived at a late hour but well before closing. We were seated pretty quickly due to low occupancy--happens when you show up during a Nor'easter I guess, lol! The food was good and it was an interesting experience. Novelty dining, if you will. Good service. Good ambiance. Bad portioning for the price paid. If you're going to ask people... More

Let's see why we won't visit the Melting Pot again: 1) Reservations not honored (in our case, we arrived 15 minutes prior to our booking and were seated 45 minutes later) 2) Service is poor (our first drink arrived 30 minutes after we were seated- that's 1:15 since we entered the restaurant) 3) Food is expensive and mediocre ($200 for... Five of us had a nice time at the melting pot - we got the chocolate fondue and a few drinks and this was perfect.

My husband & I are frequent diners at the Melting Pot as it's our "go to" restaurant for special occasions. The food and service are always excellent! Especially at the Framingham location. For this particular visit we joined two other couples for an early Valentine's dinner and everything was wonderful! That was until a birthday party of about 8 pre-teen... More

Fondue might sound dated, but these folks keep it very stylish and contemporary. Many types of fondue for incredibly diverse palates. Unusual physical arrangement with many booths arranged so that you don't see other diners. So feels like your own private party. Slightly pricey, but lots of food and very fun.

Location is in AZ, even special event, there should have children's menu. This total service was ripping off because my family was not really satisfied, and even I contacted about this, the person promised to do something sent us, and never came it. Overall I was so upset. My husband has illness, and he did not understand it all. Anyway... More

We went there on Valentines Day and need to point out they have a special “pre-fix” menu that night. As others have said this place is VERY expensive. Now truly I don’t mind “expensive” if I get a great experience for it… The only two options were $65 per person or $100 per person for the “Loves lane” now keep... More

The premise of the melting pot is fondue dining. It brought me back to my 20's when fondue was the rage, however, bringing the grandchildren here was a disaster. Everything is priced a la carte and boy did the price run up high very quckly. The kids enjoyed it, but it was too much work for me. Everyone wanted different... More

Melting Pot is a special occasion splurge. Not only is it a bit on the pricey side, but it is anything but light fare... well at least if you do it right. We have been visiting the Framingham location since it first opened. We always loved the four-course "experience," but the new menu - instead of offering a menu for... More

Maybe if you go for JUST the cheese or chocolate - but, the 4 course dinners are very pricey. Steak, Chicken, Shrimp was nothing special. It's an interesting idea - but, just way overpriced for a dinner.
