Legal is always a safe bet for good food and service but last night we had the worst meal ever! Nothing good about the visit. Bathroom dirty. Service slow. Food really bad. Even our wine was bad. It was like we were jinxed. So disappointing. Had travelers visiting and all were excited about going to famous legal - Applebee's would... More

Over the years I figure I've been to various Legal outposts more than any other restaurant. I go often cause they are reliable... consistently enjoyable. Service is great, if something goes awry not they immediately make it right. Loved my shrimp cocktail and halibut on my recent visit. Reasonably priced wine list.

We always heard about Legal Sea Foods and never visited. Our first visit lived up to the hype :) Excellent selections, timely service and though a bit pricey we loved it.

We have eaten at Legal Sea Food at several locations in Boston area and DC. This one had the best service and attention to detail. Our server, Sergi, was helpful and very friendly. My husband had the phenomenal grilled Arctic Char and I had grilled Halibut done to perfection. We couldn't decide which was best! Perfectly fresh and prepared. If... More

Visited here many times. Most recent visit was last week and was great as always. Had crab cake for starter and lobster for main. Both dishes were very tasty, great quality, well cooked and well presented. Service was great. Would recommend to others.

Service was excellent. Waiter was helpful and friendly in a professional way. No nametag so can't send you his way. Food was outstanding. Crab cake, scallops and shrimp in the most delicious spices and cooked perfectly. Great wine choices. Arugula salad yummy. Wish I had saved room for dessert.

i have been to several of the Legal Seafoods but I believe this one is best. The food and service is consistent. I had the fishermans platter which was good but to much fried food. I will stick to the sole or fish and chips next time. Desserts are not that great. I wanted a Boston Creme Pie Traditional and... More

If you serve "legal"seafood you should have edible clams, but no the serve these grotesquely lagging clams so full of grit as to be inedible. Haven't these people ever had of little necks? I have a dozen steamers and crab cake appetizer. Crab cake was actually very good but all in all over priced and not fresh. Basically a hipsters... More

I have to admit, was hesitant to try since it is a chain. However, have to admit, the staff made it feel like a local restaurant, and the food was not anything I have ever had in any chain restaurant before. Yes, it may be more expensive than a typical chain like Applebee's or TGIFridays, but you will not regret... More

Six of us ate here and we all had seafood except for one child with a cheese burger. All of the seafood was delicious. The service was excellent. The prices were a bit high for the full seafood and steak dinners. A bowl of chowder or bisque with an appetizer was plenty of food. Ambience was fine, not too noisy.... More
