The Wild Goose Tavern is a casual dining place inside the Chatham Wayside Inn right on Main Street. Seafood is the best bet on the menu because fresh seafood comes into a small pier less than a mile away. My guest had swordfish which he...More

Good food and wine! Sit outside on the porch for ambiance. Convenient in-town location. We would eat here again next time we are in Chatham.

We both had excellent meals, good wine and G & T. Seafood was very nicely prepared, although they used a TON of butter. We'd go back again.

My wife and I ate outside and it was delightful. My wife liked the fish and chips, and I had the ham and gruyere, which is one of the best sandwiches ever. Would commend it to anyone looking for a nice lunch.

We ate here twice on our visit to Chatham, once for lunch, once for dinner. Good service on both occasions, friendly staff. Excellent burger. Try to eat outside if you can.

A nice change of pace from hotel dining. The staff is great but the food is average. The restaurant is conveniently located in town and a reservation will speed up the wait.

Be sure to get reservations as this place fills up pretty fast. It's a bit noisy as everyone is in one big room together, but I think you'll find it's worth it.
