Lunch for five, moderately busy. Sat in the back, and the location not on the water but had pungent odor of old fish. Lunch menu pretty standard, Food portions small, fish and chips with 3 fish mini chunks? Service was ok. Quality definitely not Ok....More

My first-time dining at the Impudent Oyster was in 1989. I sat at the bar, at the very end on the right side, and even now can recall being simply stunned when my entree of Barbecued Tuna was served. Before even tasting the first bite,...More

Fabulous menu and fabulous food. The wine list was excellent too as well as the staff. We couldn't fault it in any way.

Every place is better than Chatham Bars Inn, though. Anyway, the oysters were good; the mussels were better. This restaurant is in an old church just off Main Street. Walkable if you are staying "in town". Server was friendly and pacing was on point. Food...More

We went for lunch at 2pm to avoid the earlier rush, when you might need to wait for a table (no booking allowed at lunch but reservations ahead of the day you want dinner are advisable). The lunch menu is extensive, from a range of...More

Busy resturant of main shopping street. Good selection of food and wine. I found it rather expensive for what we received. Tables a little crammed together and small. Rather a lunch venue the a dinning resturant

We were two couples with good appetites. We each tried a different dish. The mussels were huge, delicious, and sandy. I thought they could not have been fresher! My lobster, boiled, was perfect. A better Cracker might have made my job easier. A mention for...More

I wish we could give this place a five star rating. My meal, the Salmon Azores, was off the charts. The salmon and clams were done perfectly. The chorizo sausage imparted just enough tang. The baby kale was sautéed/wilted perfectly, too, and the potato pancake...More

Lovely atmosphere of wood and plants. Good wine list. Start with a fresh loaf of bread with rosemary, and (thank you!) SOFT butter. Husband had encrusted swordfish. Good portions, cooked to perfection, on a huge bed of greens. I had filet mignon cooked to perfection,...More

Went with another couple who had dined there before and we were very disappointed. If you want a leisurely experience and pace please go elsewhere. We ordered a dozen oysters and a salad for the 4 to share as well as a bottle of wine....More

I'd like to know why all the other prior questions were not addressed by this restaurant. We were planning to go there until I saw that they apparently do not care about what potential customers are looking for or need in terms of information.

I submitted a review and I have been asked to answer your question. The owner of Impudent is an older gentleman and they don't appear to have a website so I think it is more a lack of technology than and intent to ignore... More
