Menu items always good, specialty omelettes fun and creative. They bake all their own bread. Coffee good. Popular spot!

We've been coming here for years, through a few different owners, and the Roadhouse remains a diamond in the rough. Impressive are the homemade breads (onion dill, sun dried tomato) and other baked goods from scratch, the farm fresh ingredients such as the root vegetables in today's omelet (turnip, golden beets and Daikon radish), and the locally roasted Pierce Brother's... Breakfast never tasted so good! Specials to make your mouth water, the best coffee, homemade bread to choose from and more. Quaint dining area or patio seating and service with a smile. I love the never matching table wear it just adds to the charm. Reasonable prices for home cooked meals
I don't get out to breakfast much but on the rare occasion I get a morning to myself I like to go to the Roadhouse to relax with some breakfast. It's a homey, pleasant atmosphere. If you go during peak hours it will be busy and it's a small place. So you might have to wait. But it's worth it.... More
When you arrive at a breakfast cafe at 10 am and the parking lot is completely full, you know you're in for a great breakfast. We stopped at the Roadside Cafe on our way to visit the Quabbin Reservoir. What a great place - homey and quaint. We chatted with Mike and Deb (owners) and found out that ALL of... More
We love going here for a great weekend breakfast, and bring friends and family when they visit. It is a busy place on the weekends, but the service is great, the food always comes fairly quickly and is always delicious! I highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch omelet when they have it on the specials board!!!

We stopped at The Roadhouse Cafe, on a lark, on our way to visit the Dickinson Homestead in Amherst. What a quaint and cozy little spot, locally owned, and serving up the most creative, delicious, organic, homemade dining fare! We absolutely loved... More
The ability to call ahead and order a take out sandwich works very well in my life. I have called ahead many times. This trip I ordered my usual which is an egg white sandwich with cheddar cheese and turkey sausage. This was crafted perfectly and placed on the most amazing homemade wheat bread. This time around it seemed above... More
