Local sports theme and friendly staff, this place has a lot to offer anyone passing through or visiting Kent Island. A generous alcohol and food menu are available here. Tilapia was the fish and chips choice so I picked the pork tacos which offered two...generous tacos plus plenty of Spanish rice. After our egg roll appetizer, one taco was enough for me! I was everything down with a local IPA! A great choice after our bike ride on the cross island trail.More

If you like it, they have all the semi tasteless pub food, a wide range, nothing disgusting and a host of drawling idiots who believe football is life. Typical and average. A very very interesting collection of sports memorabilia line the walls and since this...is a burger and chile and nachos kinda place it all fits.More

Six of us enjoyed a post bicycle lunch at Big Bats. It was a hot Sunday early afternoon. The outdoor seating was cool and shaded. Some of us enjoyed the local microbrew beers. I got the gyro, which was suggested by the waitress over the...Greek quesadilla. Sense I was hungry that worked out. It also filled me up. Others in the party got the Cobb salad, they liked that. Two others got the fish and chips. The people who got the fish and chips were very pleased, big portions, good coleslaw and needed take home boxes. Nice place, we sat outside, socially distanced and never went inside. Not even sure if it was open for dining. Although was open for the restrooms. If in the neighborhood I will go back.More

We went there with a friend for lunch. Meals ordered were caesar salad, fried shrimp dinner and a big bats cheeseburger. Portions were generous with lots of fries-burger was big. Service by Allannah C was very good. We will be back.

Big beers are cold and refreshing!! The pretzel burger is the best burger on the menu. This is a must stop if you come to Kent Island!!

We often go here because it is inexpensive and has good burgers. Sports environment is great. The restaurant really needs to work on improving the cleanliness of tables, booths, floors.

We went for lunch and both enjoyed the Gyro with homemade chips and onion rings. The service and prices were good . The dining room is a little too dark for my wife's taste (no windows), but the bar area us bright and roomy.

The food was delicious And plenty of it! The service was ok. They were busy and could have used an extra server. Friendly atmosphere. Restaurant was clean. They need to update their prices on their website. Sandwiches cost $2.00 more than I expected.

Have gone twice, first time a drink order was taken, but 15 minutes later no drinks. We left. Second time, 20 minutes of sitting, no wait staff ever showed up. Never been back. I hear the food is standard fried fare and decent, but I...never actually got any food. If you have a seat yourself policy, then check your areas. Both times we were outside, in view of everything, with plenty of tables that were towards the end of their meals.More

You are going to find the locals here, especially in the off-season around sporting events. Friendly staff, solid food. Don't get fancy, get your burgers/wings/nachos and you'll walk away happy!

The meal was hot and the soft crab delicious. Steamed vegetables also were cooked nicely - not too crunchy. Best of all, the price was reasonable.

We had a great breakfast at Big Bats Cafe. The service was excellent and the whole staff was very friendly. The food was great and there was plenty of it! I had an egg and sausage sandwich on a bagel. It was delicious. My husband...has gluten allergies and there was no problem in making substitutions. I recommend this place, especially for the baseball enthusiast. It's just a fun place.More
