We are back in town for the season and one of our first stops for dinner for the past few years has been Sello's, our favorite restaurant in the area. There are new owners and we were nervous that things would change and we would...be disappointed. Yes, there have been some changes in the wait staff, but it is as good as ever! The new folks clearly have high standards! We appreciate it! Ina was our server and while we miss Savannah, she did a super job.More

Our daughter and her husband treated us to a dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Sello’s has a menu with a variety of things that are not available in other Italian restaurants, so we took our time ordering our meals. The atmosphere is so relaxing...and the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal. We split an order of calamari, served with lemon and jalapeno peppers, while our daughter and her husband both had salads. My daughter and I both ordered the Rigatoni e Granchi. It consisted of rigatoni topped with crab meat, pancetta and roasted peppers in a bechamel’ sauce. It was outstanding! Our son-in-law had a grilled rack of lamb served over roasted potatoes. My wife ordered the Aragosta e vitello, which was lobster tail and veal scallopini with mushrooms and shallots, served with peas and onions in a cream sauce. They both agreed that their dinners were delicious. For dessert we had hazelnut gelato and tiramisu (the best I ever had!). Our daughter had a flavored (chocolate) martini. This place has a great atmosphere and it goes without saying that reservations are a must. Highly recommended as a place to celebrate special occasions or a place to go anytime that you want excellent Italian food.More

My husband and I enjoyed it delicious meal here the other night. Christina was our server and she suggested a delicious roasted pepper salad which we enjoyed. I had veal marcell and he had tortelli. We topped it off for dessert with a couple of...chocolate and peanut butter martinis. I can't wait until our next visit!More

While the parking lot can present some challenges, once you get parked, the dining experience is delightful! We have been here before and wanted to return on this trip for some great homemade Italian fare. We had the Crab and Proscuit to start our meal,...and the lump crab was not only plentiful, but very sweet, plenty of crab and the price was comparable to a pound of jumbo lump. It was our splurge for the evening. We dined on Papardelle alla Bolognese. Both the Bolognese sauce and the pasta were great and made to order. We also had the Pesce del Giorno, and shared both plates. A little pricy but an extraordinary dining experience when you want some good Italian dining.More

Have been to this restaurant three times. Each time, we were greeted well by the hostess. We recommend reservations as they book up often. It is very clean. Seating and tables spaced well apart from other patrons. Service is top notch. Always attentive and our...(non-alcoholic) drinks never went dry. Parking spaces are tight if you have a large vehicle. Beautiful decor. Food delicious and made from scratch. Cream of crab soup and the meatballs were outstanding. Our desert was creme brulee and this was one of the best we have ever had. The only downfall is the cost. Our last visit there, we had four in our party. No one drank alcohol (coffee, tea and soda only.) Three of us had appetizers. All had entrees. Three of us had deserts. With a 25% tip, the check was just over $250. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is due to overall cost. We will definitely return for a special occasion. Highly recommend.More

What a wonderful Dinner, it was exactly what we were looking for after a 2 and a half hour drive from the Baltimore Area. We had two salads a pizza and lasagna... the pizza; cooked in a wood oven and was hot, the bread had...just the right amount of browning char, the cheese, plentiful and melty and it was wonderful, the lasagna was amazing.... and the salads.... I really like goat cheese and the toasted pine nuts just set the whole thing off. The lasagna was made up of these wonderfully thin sheets of pasta and wasn't overwhelmed by the sauce... the ricotta and meats were well distributed... all in all it was wonderful. and the servings were more than enough. The restaurant itself, is tucked away off the main drag, I didn't see any outdoor eating but it may be there, I just didn't look. My bride and I both had the house wines, a Chianti and the home made Sangria..... while we were socially spaced because of the Vid it was still comfortable. It could be a little loud in the restaurant at moments but not too distracting. All in all a wonderful dinner and experience. I am planning on returning.More

Super anniversary dinner! Our meal and service were top notch. All the pasta is made in-house. For appetizer we shared the sausage and rabe which was perfectly seasoned. Our entree was the tortellini and mushroom. For dessert the tiramisu had yummy layers. Also made in-house

Amazing food and experience...the crab appetizer was quite possibly the best crab dish I have ever eaten. Entrees were tasty, prepared perfectly, and were a good hearty size. The cannolis were also very fresh and good! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Last night was our first visit of the new season. We were anxious to see if there were any significant changes to our favorite Ocean City restaurant. There is new ownership and this is often followed by a new menu, new servers, etc. The news...is good! The top quality staff is still there and it was good to see them. The menu hasn't changed and our meal was outstanding! We will be back!More
