Big disappointment, no snow crab legs on the buffett. $35 for the regular buffett and if you wanted snow crab legs, they were $23 per pound extra. I guess there is a shortage and cost are higher because of the shut downs. It used to...be my favorite place. Hopefully thing will get back to normal.More

I normally go to the Bonfire 3-4 times a year. No longer. The restaurant now charges for their buffet (which is so so) and extra for crab legs. The crab legs are the only reason for visiting the Bonfire. Adults now pay app. $35 and...I read on-line that 1 lb of crab legs is an extra $25. If the restaurant continues with this policy they will be out of business by June. That is OK by me. OC can use the extra parking space.More

We're sorry you are disappointed we had to remove crab legs from the all you can eat this year, we are as well! It was not a decision we took lightly, but due to the drastic drop in supply and the rising cost it was...More

It is true that crab legs are no longer part of thr buffet. You have to pay extra for them. This was my first coming to this restaurant, and the food was very good and delicious. The atmosphere was very nice, welcoming, and relaxing. It...almost made me feel like I was at home. The Prime Rib, BBQ Beef Brisket, Fried Shrimp, and the Homemade Donuts were personal favorites from the buffet alongside the Non-Alcholic Strawberry Margeritta that I also enjoyed very much. Very friendly, respectful and welcoming restaurant staff. This place is definitely a keeper the next time I am in Ocean City. By the way, even though the wait time to be seated was about 30 minutes. I get into the restaurant to our table with my family, within about 15 minutes. Keep up the excellent work, Bonfire.More

Buffet does not have crab legs as advertisers. They are another 25.00 more for 1 lb. Food could be a lot better

You should know before you go that crab legs are no longer included in the buffet price. You must purchase them separately at an additional cost. We didn’t realize this until we were seated in the restaurant (there was a small sign on the table...that explained that they can no longer offer them on the buffet). We checked the menu online before coming to the restaurant and didn’t see anything regarding this on the website. There was a mention that crab legs were available to purchase by the pound but I assumed that this was a “to go” thing. They have lowered the price of the buffet from $50. to $35. but if you want crab legs, it’s an additional $35. for 1 1/2 pounds (guessing here - I read it but we decided to go somewhere else and I could be wrong about the price - I checked and there is no price stated on their website.) Not debating their decision to discontinue crab legs from the buffet, I’m sure it was a difficult decision to make but it would be nice if they let people know before being seated in the restaurant, either by a blurb on the website or a prominently displayed sign near the door. Not intending to trash them but, if you’re like us and dream of chowing down on crab legs at the Bonfire, from the minute you start planning your trip to OC, you should know that what the current policy is.More

I am annoyed at recent reviewers lambasting the Bonfire for things that are completely out of their control!!!! They did not cause the pandemic. People hate change, that I understand, but if one of your traditions is a stop at the greatest buffet at the...beach, guess what?, they have to comply to the covid rules, or be shut down. You don't like not serving yourself??? Guess what, no one does. You don't like having more limited options due to the manpower needed to serve the food??? Its that or no Bonfire to enjoy. Answer me this, you want unlimited crab legs???? (Ummmm, yes please) How bout that slice of juicy Prime rib??? Or that second slice???.... or if you are me...that THIRD SLICE???!!! Ummm try and find that ANYWHERE for less cash. Folks, ease up here. They are doing there very best with limited capacity to get everyone in. Yes, it is expensive, but, its not cafeteria food...its prime beef and seafood for Gods sake, AND ITS UNLIMITED!!! Lets give them a break and just enjoy the Bonfire for what it is today. It will return to its pre covid glory as soon as its allowed to. And ill be there then just as I am now.More

Some successes, some failures. At $50.00 a person you would expect better. By far the worst cream of crab soup I have ever had. What they called seafood scampi, was literally lumps of imitation crab meat. No sauce, not butter, nothing. The saving grace was...the crab legs, and prime rib. In past experience's they have had snow crab legs. This visit they had Dungeness, which was fine. Prime rib was also pretty good. If you are a crab leg lover you can get your moneys worth. If not, go somewhere else.More

Wow, $53 for mediocre food, like Longhorn Steakhouse. At least I helped the local economy. Ugh! Go to a really nice restaurant and spend the same $. I REALLY wish I had read reviews before going.

Extremely disappointed with the food and prices. Arrived at the restaurant at 4:15 pm, and they opened at 4. Paid $53 for myself only to have cold food. I only had 2 plates and most of the food on my first plate was wasted because...it was cold. How are you just opening a restaurant with food that’s supposed to be hot, being served cold?? The crab legs were really small. The price to food satisfaction ratio was so disappointing. I won’t be returning anytime soon.More

For a seafood buffet is was lacking in the seafood department. The selection was very limited and the only dessert option was soft served ice cream. For $50 a person, some cake would of been nice. The waitress added in her tip when she gave...us the check, which I found rude since it’s a tip and I should tip you what I feel is right for your service. It smells very old and musky in the building. I would never suggest this overpriced buffet to anyone nor will I ever go here to eat again. It’s a huge rip off. You’ve been warned.More

My group went off season and went on a Thursday around 5. So I think the above answer is correct. This is a must do restaurant. My group as well as myself can not wait to go back to Ocean City and go the Bonfire.

Under $20. Depends on their age. Thought 13 year olds cost the adult price. Also there is a $10 per person savings if no one at your table has crab, but what would’ve the point of going if you do not like crab.

Under 3, kids eat free. It is a scale that increases as the age of the child increases. See their website.
