Great calamari, mussels, and fresh bread. I had the surf and turf and was in heaven! This place is amazing. Customer service was great.

Pretty good food, large portions. Nothing we had was exceptional. Bar in center of room, bartender screaming at the bar patrons who responded in kind. Try Liquid Assets for a marvelous seafood meal

We visited here in 2018 and were really impressed with this restaurant. We went back in April and it was not quite as good as the last time. My wife ordered the Aged Rib Eye steak and was not impressed. I ordered my favorite Grilled...Salmon and it was good but the sides with it were not as good as I remember.More

A recent family dinner at Hooked was a highlight of our stay in Ocean City. The restaurant itself has a very cool atmosphere. It seemed small at first but then we went upstairs and it got a lot bigger. It is quite popular though so...while we went on the early side, it was quite full by the time we left. They were running a half priced entree special which was amazing, although I suspect this will disappear soon as the crowds start arriving for the season. All the food we enjoyed was delicious. Their seafood choices were plentiful and fresh. I had a fantastic local rockfish. The menu can be a bit confusing and they are not flexible on switches with sides, etc. service was stellar though and it’s a strong 5. Would definitely return again when in OC.More

There are about 4 ___ Hooked restaurants in the 15 mile radius. The menus are similar and we went to the Ocean City, MD that had more tourist, and Fenwick Island DE that has more locals. Both are worth going to. We ordered take out...(Asian Short Ribs and Cioppino) at the Ocean City location. The website is a bit confusing to use. So good that wife and I had 3 dinners while on a week vacation. Had the Chesapeake Crab flatbread, mussels appetizers, 3 different types of taco, seared scallops, grilled Rockfish, Asian Beef Short Ribs (with 3 large scallops -- tasted more Russian but Russia is in Asia), and Cioppino (sea food soup/stew) twice. The Cioppino was so good, that ordered 2 to take home from vacation. The cocktails were very strong -- high EtOH content. By this review, you might gather, we though the place was great. Only thing missing were crab cakes and lobsters., which you can get at lots of other places on the island.More

This place has been a must go for my wife and I since it first opened its doors in 2011. They do not have reservations, so go early if you don't want to wait. I assure you, the wait is worth it though. They have...their own unique twist on almost everything. The appetizer's were delightful, the calamari and boom boom shrimp are our favorites. Hooked's entree's are done to perfection and large. Service is impeccable, as we never had so much as an empty drink during any of our visits. They even have the fancy salt scrub in their bathrooms. We just love this place.More

Did not have reservations, but got seated right away. They had a phenomenal special pricing for meals the night we were there. Food was good, drinks were good. Server was very attentive and friendly.

It can be a challenge to find one of the top restaurants in OC open in the offseason... the good thing is it’s easy to get a seat, anywhere. Luckily for us, Hooked was open in the offseason (and during COVID-19 at that). The staff...was excellent, restaurant clean and safe (not only were the CDC guidelines followed, they were enforced), and everything we had on the menu was gastronomical goodness! The menu is a one pager, plus a extra page of Fish of the Day. They do the simple thing right... focus on flavor, portion, service and presentation! All around an exceptional dining experience- can’t wait to go back!More
