Great food and very good service. There were 6 of us and everyone had a good time and liked their food.
Great place for breakfast really neat place. Very pleasant staff and plenty of them. Lots of menu options prices are average food was delicious.
The food is good service was good, gets very crowded Food items you can’t find in other Breakfast places it is pricey but if you want something different I would try it. Would go back if I visit again
Great omelette! Wish I would have ordered the crepes too… great view quick service Pictures are a little off due to pink umbrella
Absolutely a great spot to stop! Food was great, had a nice atmosphere and nice staff. Omelettes were huge and crepes were yummy. Unfortantely there was a musty smell that did not go away. We assumed it could have been other people but looking at...other reviews, it may be how the tables are being cleanedMore
Right up there with Sahara Cafe, The Bayside Skillet is one of the best breakfast venues in Ocean City. Make sure you get the Crepes Katherine, and Potatoes Ariel. We had never done takeout, but we tried it this year and it was fantastic. Highly...recommended.More
Me and my family came for vacation and we at breakfast here it was the best food and service was excellent
Had a 20 min wait for a table around 9 am which is reasonable, I expect that. Finally we are seated under an umbrella table. Neat atmosphere. As soon as we sat down an moldy odor just took over. I figured I still give it...a shot, were already here-had a coffee sitting in front of me. Then more moldy dingy odor. Looking at the table cloth it was covered in a mold as if it were just wiped down with a dirty dish rag for the entire season. This wasn’t just a whiff, this was that stale bar smell the next morning that perpetuated from the table we were sitting at. If the owner/manager reads this please either get rid of the mold infested table cloths or at the very least sort it out with a heavy dose of bleach. I couldn’t stand the putrid smell and had to leave, I owe you for a coffee. I’ve never left anywhere before. I’ve always just ranted about it afterward but at least I now know where I draw the line of staying and giving something a shot. The inside is probably a different story but this was my experience.More
No food is worth the treatment we just received. No rating is low enough. This business does not care about their patrons just the almighty dollar. We have been going to this establishment for years, it is a tradition, actually have another generation making it...a tradition but NEVER AGAIN. It is over 90 degrees, my parents are almost 80 years old. We checked in, wasn’t given a wait time frame and told to stand in a make shift corral of construction cones in their parking lot IN THE SUN on BLACKTOP in close quarters during Covid with no shade and not one seat. My mother is disabled, can’t walk or stand for more than approximately 10 minutes and has heart issues, my father recently had a hip replacement, cancer, skin cancer of all things, and is also not the healthiest and in the best condition and I although healthy have rheumatoid arthritis along with my mother and was sunburned pretty badly. We tried standing in the 90 degree weather, on blacktop, with no shade and no seats and my parents started feeling ill. I asked if they could give us a pager so we could sit in the car, telling them because my parents were feeling ill and they said they don’t have them. I asked if they could take my phone number and call us, they said they don’t do that, not even a simple exception to help their customers, nothing to help accommodate. We saw a bunch of people, younger and kids, didn’t see any others elders or I would have told them and given up my spot, that found an approximate 20 foot long, 3 foot wide area of shade caused by the new gazebo bar. We went over to stand with the others in the shade. The young employees who were stationed under the canopy would come out and call names and saw the people in the shade and nothing was said. Everyone was called and seated and we were left and this older woman who later claims to be a manger/ owner comes out from under the covering ( she was covered and shaded) sees us from a far and starts yelling and flaring her arms and comes at us full force and gets in our face telling us we are not aloud to stand there and we have to stand in the coral. We very calmly say my parents have health issues and skin cancer is one of them and she literally said she didn’t care and said this is what they do and we need to move to the coral or leave, they don’t need our business. Even though we were in Awh at her disregard for elder and humans in general we were going to comply. She followed us still yelling and making a scene and embarrassing us. As we walked to the coral we were explaining the medical issues and how they were ill and it wasn’t acceptable conditions for elderly or anyone for that matter, she got more heated and irate, confrontational and loud. Whenever we would say it’s just that we can’t stand in the heat under the sun on the black top with our health, she would just always say then leave, what’s your name!?!? When I asked why do u need our name, she said to take u off the list, we have many customers to replace you, we don’t need your business, we have plenty. The don’ t care about you they just care about the dollar!!!! When we said it doesn’t look good for the business and won’t make the best review, that concerned her and flipped a switch, she went crazy, she yelled and she told us to leave, we weren’t wanted, we weren’t allowed to eat there, she’s the manager/ owner and she is telling us to leave, we had to leave. When we asked why, on what grounds, we got no answer. She was in our face, yelling and spitting and berating us, making a scene and embarrassing us. Other patrons didn’t know why she was screaming at us to leave but she was acting and treating us like we stole or something. We were leaving and she was still harassing us and following us. She was very concerned about the review, that was it!!!! She should have been offering one of the many empty seats to the elders or anyone for that matter or at the least apologizing for the conditions. I’m a professional in the medical field and I am appalled by the disrespect she gave to the elderly, humans in general. When I called to complain, they told me to call back, they were too busy. When I left a message, I received no call back.More
This place has a quirky, fun atmosphere and great view of the bay. The omelettes and crepes were delicious. The servings are huge, my son and I could have easily shared the omelette. They are a bit pricey for breakfast but worth it. Great fresh...juice as well. Definitely will be back!!More
