We enjoyed our anniversary here. Great wine, quality food, and gorgeous views. Our server was great and you never felt rushed through meal service.

After making a reservation a month ago, the restaurant just called an hour before our reservation to tell us they couldn’t accommodate us. So unprofessional. Zero help. And it’s our anniversary. What absolutely subpar, horrible customer service.

Wonderful dinner. Didn’t expect such a nice experience just off the strip. The staff are incredible and know what it takes to enable a great dining experience. All were very friendly and the proper amount of attention. Food was prepared a d presented perfectly. We...shared a garden salad and they were kind to serve in two small plates. The special Char with curry was an interesting presentation and nicely served. When I saw the crab cakes come by, I wished I had ordered those- next time! For a very nice meal, this is a must do. From the staff to the meal and finally the location and wonderful sunset view we loved this.More

I am a frequent diner at The Hobbit and it is hands down the best restaurant in Ocean City (and could go head to head with an amazing restaurant anywhere else)! The floor to ceiling windows offer unparalleled sunset views and the food and drinks...are ALWAYS delicious. My favorite menu classics are the blackened filet with Boursin, the lollipop lamb chops, the cream of crab soup and the Mary’s delight (a dessert). There are rotating specials and you truly can’t go wrong with anything you choose. This is the perfect date night or special occasion spot but it’s also a great place to relax and dine with family and friends. The staff is very high caliber and have always gone above and beyond to make guests feel special. We love the bartenders, Luke & Bri! They make a mean cocktail - make sure to try the new espresso martini! Thank you to everyone at The Hobbit for being the best place to wine and dine and for all of the memories! Cheers!More

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! First time and I used Trip Advisor to help me select for my Easter dinner. The food, the service and the ambiance were all divine. I had the 5 oz filet mignon Easter special and it was cooked a...perfect medium. For appetizer I had a cup of the roasted tomato soup and I could’ve made a meal just on that if I were there for lunch. The waitstaff was great, especially Taylor-Marie. She told me it was only her 2nd night, but she was such a pro! If you go, make sure you do like me and make reservations. It is clearly very popular.More

This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay, perfect for a romantic dinner or celebration. An iceberg wedge salad with blue cheese that we split came out elegantly draped with its vegetables. The Smoked Gouda Pierogis with bacon and red sauerkraut and fried apples was...delicious, not too heavy or smoky. My husband had a fresh salmon which was a step above our normal at home dinners of wild caught, frozen salmon. The Coconut Cream Pie is a must for coconut lovers. The indoor dining are looked elegant and romantic. I will only eat outdoors due to Covid-19, and using the website reservation system and when they called to confirm, we were reminded that the outdoor dining has a parking lot view. Actually, it is more of an inside the parking garage view, next to their front door. Luckily, we were able to get one of the few tables on the balcony but the food was so good, I would not mind eating outside in the garage. It is roped off and has lights strung to give it a little festive look. Service from the hosts to the waiter were all excellent.More

If you are looking for the best, most romantic restaurant in OC, look no further. We celebrated our anniversary there this week and the word to describe our experience is “perfect!” This is an upscale restaurant with a dress code! This is NOT a restaurant...that you will want to take the children to either. Get a sitter or just leave them home. We shared the scallops in an unbelievable veloute sauce for appetizer. It was in a word, “amazing.” We also had the salmon in macadamia crust and the rockfish special. Also perfect. Now for dessert, the portions are huge. Order one and request two forks! Calleigh is a top notch waitress, but I suspect that The Hobbit only employs the best! Five stars!More

Great location and friendly staff! Very happy with the service however the food was not excellent but it was good. The recommended sword fish was not as described and desert was underwhelming.

The entire experience was amazing! The view is as promised and we had the most delightful table to watch the sunset. But other than the amazing sunset the food was outstanding. Everything was delicious, we had the crab soup and it was hot and filled...with of lumps of crabmeat. And our meals were perfect. The veal pistachio was one of the most hearty and tasteful dishes I’ve ever had. Everything presented so well together, we loved it. And also the filet mignon was perfectly cooked, melted in our mouth and we were so pleased. From the greeter at the door to the wait staff, everyone was delightful. Felt like we were the only two people in the entire restaurant that’s how pampered we were. We were there on vacation, but wish we were closer so we would not have to drive 3 1/2 hours for a meal but in this case, we could make an exception. Excellent all around. Highly recommend it. Thank you! Diane C. Doylestown, PAMore
