I will get right to the point. For a date, this place was perfect. The food was fantastic. The pasta was as good as I have had anywhere -- including Italy. The portions were more than reasonable, especially given the high quality. The look and...feel of the interior was upscale enough to feel special (cf. date night), but not garish or pretentious. Even the music was in good taste. I'd come here again in a heart beat. As for the staff and service, it was also excellent. If they wanted to make this place total perfection, they might add some additional options for Italian-style vegetable dishes on the side. (There are never enough vegetables in American restaurants, so this is not to point fingers. It may also be a problem of availability of the appropriate vegetables that are fresh and in regular supply. )More

Had a communication problem with my waitress, with her heavy accent,a face mask and the proverbial Frank and Dean singing too loudly in the background it was hard to get my point across, having said that the service was not bad. Ordered a martini with...onion not Olives got the Olives, good substantial drink though. My only real complaint were the Escargot, I forget how many there were but they were over cooked little black rubber bullets that took a strong jaw to eat, $19.00, a real rip, don't order them. I ordered the Pappardelle with Mushrooms, decent size order and tasty. I had a slice of Cheesecake for dessert, pretty small slice but good. Old family owned Italian restaurant atmosphere, not pretentious at all just nice.More

Just visited OC, MD for an annual trip from 3 hours away and ate at Ristorante Antipasti on 2 of the 5 nights of our stay. One of the only restaurants in the world I’ve been to that I would go back to in the...same week. Probably our 25th visit to this restaurant and the food and service are still spot on and fantastic. Night one did a simple veal Parmesan, figs with prosciutto app, salad and a dessert. Perfection. Night two, I should preface this we are foodies. So we ordered without a menu and left dinner in the chefs hands. We had some timbalo, veal chop with vegetable, Salad, roasted peppers with bread, espresso and another dessert I cannot recall. I wish this place was closer I would visit multiple times a month. Fausto cares about his customers, and it’s a testament to his and their quality that after all these years his passion for this place still shines through. He still checks with his customers and is friendly with everyone. Refreshing in times like these. Rob the bartender is always pleasant and a joy to visit for a pre-dinner cocktail. Background music always brings a smile and the wine list is very good. Visit them when in town. You will not be sorry.More

We had reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes for our table. There is not much room to wait and fortunately we could stand outside and try and be socially distant. The salads were very good and the Cesar did have white anchovies The...food was good, I had the Bolgnase pasta which was made the old way and included peas. MY wife had the swordfish which she said was delicious. Service was adequate. Not much of a selection for wine by the glass. and the owner Fausto DiCarlo got to "handsy" with my wife. Even then he is Italian there is no excuse for this behavior.More

My family had a vacation to OCMD this year and found this amazing Italian restaurant from recommendation from Vince, Alin and Aladdin at the Hilton. I would eat here everyday on our trip, but was able to get two awesome dinners. The owner, Fausto was...very friendly and had attention to detail and service was excellent. The best restaurant in OCMD. Recommend linguine alla vongole, garlic steak and scallop appetizer. Will definitely be back!More

We chose this restaurant due to the reviews. We all ordered different meals and they came out fast. Each one was delicious but for the price not a big portion. If the prices were lower it would have been a 5 star. We will be...back because the service was a 5 star.More

My family of four, my sister and my two nephews dined outside at Antipasto about a week ago. It is one of our favorites and we try to make it at least once every summer. Fausto got us a great table outside with no more...than a 15 minute wait. We did not have reservations, and they were BUSY! Our server, Jo-Jo, was wonderful, patient and pleasant. We knew she was smiling behind her mask. At one point, another server came to tell us a man and his daughter had purchased dessert for us. Apparently, a large party had gifted another table with dessert and that party continued to pay it forward. We were the fourth party to be gifted dessert. Honestly, it was one of the nicest things that a stranger has ever done for my family. The atmosphere of the people dining outside was full of laughter and good cheer. Did I mention the food was delicious? Of course, we continued to pay it forward. Our kids chose a table of a family of four. They were so appreciative and the smiles on their girls’ faces....WOW! Thanks Fausto, once again an amazing meal and memorable part of our summer!More

I had previously posted on multiple sites how much I loved this restaurant in OC MD. I called ahead to see if they were open on July 15, 2020 and asked for take out. They said they were too busy for any takeout that night....Please note it was only around 5:30 PM when I called. I asked if I could make a reservation and I was a party of 1, and she said I didn’t need a reservation and could come right in (conflicting statements already). I came in and was told to wait as they brought in a family of five behind me who had a reservation (?). Next thing I know the hostess says I’ll BRB while two other parties arrived behind me. Suddenly the owner comes over and says to me that I’d either have to eat at the bar or leave because they were too busy. I told him what happened before I arrived but he said the same thing again...this in front of other people. I felt singled out (no pun intended) & embarrassed. I was very hungry so I went to the bar where I was rushed by the owner who said that no one would sit on either side of me. When I was leaving, the owner, who usually says hello to guests at their tables, saw that I was leaving and quickly rushed over ... I actually thought he was going to apologize to me but instead grabbed my chair that I barely got my cheeks off of so he could seat 2 recent arrivals. He simply wanted me gone. Talk about feeling unwelcomed and not appreciated. I was traveling with a large family, many are Italian but they opted out. And despite how much I like their food, I will never eat at a place that made me feel that unwelcomed ever again. What if I was recently widowed?!More
