Last night was my first time. The food was good, portions were right on the money. The drinks were food. Staff was corteous and I enjoyed the music played at the restaurant. I would go back and recommend.
Terrible service. Good help is hard to come by. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. We were told a wait of 25-30 minutes by young man at the hosting stand who claimed to be the manager. They claimed to have called...us for our table 30 minutes ago, meaning a table was available immediately after we checked in. But they never did. When I asked the young man what happened, he became rude, defensive, and loud. I reminded this young man that I was a client/customer and he said not yet BC I haven't been seated yet. LOL. At that point my husband said let's go and that they dont derserve our money. We are a family of 5 with 3 hungry teen boys. We would suggest you save your money for some place else. We are.More
I’m not exactly sure why we came back but we figured after our last bad experience (earlier this year) we’d give them another chance. Like others posting on here, something has definitely changed. It’s Mexican. It’s not hard to do well nor should it be...expensive. It starts with the chips and salsa. I suspect the salsa comes out of a 5 gallon Sysco tub. It’s a mess of mushy tomatoes and has little or no taste. I found myself eating plain chips. I’ve consistently had better burritos at Chipotle. A burrito shouldn’t be anywhere close to being $20 but it is at Mothers. The margaritas are very good but again: expensive. $17 for a standard top shelf or $30 for a large. (They are good though) If you want a drink this may be your juke joint. If you want food I’d go elsewhere.More
Wife and I ate at the 78th st. Location outside on a Thursday night. Steve was our server and was prompt and attentive. We had chips salsa and margaritas to start on in what seemed like 5 minutes. We ordered the guacamole appetizer that was...served in the avocado skin. It was creamy, and good call. We shared the ahi- tuna fajitas in which tuna was prepared perfectly. Plenty for 2. We observed good teamwork with all of the employees and will definitely be back next year!More
The homemade guacamole in the avocado shell was the best. So much to choose from and so fresh. We ate outside on the patio and the only complaint was the music was so loud both live and piped in that you couldn't hear yourself talk...or talk to the server or have a conversation. But the food was great. And service was attentiveMore
Great food and service . A definite go to while in OC. Margarita was super good and made the way a margarita should be, real margarita glass and kosher salt, not fake like a lot of the restaurants in OC put it in a plastic...cup and no salt.More
Drink specials are back but $5 per taco ($30 for 6) on 30+ tacos and no happy hour food specials was beyond salty and the food was pretty average on this visit. This was a hopping place before the pandemic but this visit in June...left us skipping a return in July or our trip in mid August as there are too many good places to eat in OC. I decided to eat Mexican when I got back. I hope things get better in the future but until we see some drastic improvements in the reviews and some semblance of a real happy hour or better value on the food we are skipping this on all future visits to OC.More
The food is fantastic. You could throw a dart at the menu and hit something phenomenal every time. The staff is friendly and eager to make your experience one to remember. Everyone seems like a big family. I’d make sure to plan a meal here,...no matter how short your visit to Ocean City is.More
