This place was definitely not worth it. We called them after another place was closed, it being the off season. Tried to order delivery but they said their delivery driver didn’t come in. Ok, we’ll pick it up. First thing we tried to order was...the garlic parm wings mixed with hot sauce. They said they couldn’t do that. Not that hard, but Whatever, we just got the garlic ones. Next we tried to order a chicken parm sub. They said they weren’t running the grill tonight. On a Friday night at 8. Ok. Tried to order a cold cut sub. They said they weren’t making subs at all. Ok. Getting annoyed but just ordered two calzones instead. We were hungry and just wanted to order at that point. $77. And THEN they charged a 3% fee for using a card instead of cash. Seriously??? This is a pizza place with a bar. And you charge a fee for using your card?? The chicken fingers we got for our son that said “jumbo chicken tenders” were just some thin generic boxed chicken tenders. Terrible.More

Excellent pizza! The blue crab pizza is to die for but even something as simple as pepperoni is amazing!

The pizza is the best in OCMD, hands down, but what really makes Johnny's stand out is the staff. The waiter we had on Saturday (9/19) pretty much made the whole weekend for us. I hope mgmt sees this and tells him we said so!...We ordered the "disgusting" pumpkin beer (hahahaha, it was yummy), and one of our party special ordered pizza with American cheese and they accommodated that request, too. The pepperoni was so good I picked it all off and ate it and we told the waiter our pizza came with no pepperoni. He knew better, but went and got us a bunch of pepperoni anyway. :) When we arrived (during bike week) the place was packed, but someone met us at the door immediately and told us it would only be a few minutes. Within five minutes they had a table cleaned for our party of six. We will definitely stop at Johnny's every time we are in OC from now on!More

We got just a plain cheese pizza and it was good, and had good flavor. We will definitely eat here again!

I’m not going to really rate them (hence the neutral rating) but think travelers should know they are not functioning normally right now. Our first try to get food from them we were told 9:30 pm was too late to get pizza delivery. Ok, whatever...right? It’s Covid time. Our second attempt we planned on grabbing a lunch to take the beach. They had nothing but pizza and something they called a Caesar salad but was just romaine and a packet of Caesar dressing. That’s it - a 2 ingredient Caesar salad, if you call the packet of dressing an ingredient. They didn’t offer any subs or anything else on the menu but the pizza, which was fine but unremarkable, and salads - which I just shared what the salad we ordered was. It wouldn’t be fair to assume they are never ok, but they are not handling Covid as well as some other restaurants so for the time I would at least warn you to call ahead and ask questions.More

Been a patron of johnnys since they opened. Was excited that they were opening a location in Ocean pines, as in the past I would drive from OP to Coastal Highway just for their pizza. The Ocean pines location has a been short staffed since...they opened, and pizzas have taken up to 45 minutes.. Tonight there was only one person answering phones, and making pizzas.. I feel extremely bad for her, and this situation was clearly not her fault.. and she was doing the best she could, given the circumstances. So tonight this 5 star review is for her! This girl deserves at minimum time and a half pay for all the crap she put up with, from angry customers. Ownership / management... I know this season and situation is unprecedented, but please make sure you take care of this young lady, and beef up staffing.. I am afraid your not making the best of impression in OP.More

We ordered pizza and wings June 26th. They were busy but quick. Food was delicious. If I were to ever return to the area I would order again. Hopefully they will add butter garlic wings back to their menu by then.

Pizza is awful but wings are pretty good. Pricey... make sure they give you the total on the phone. Did not accept coupon price when we picked up the order. Said prices changed earlier that day due to the corona virus.

We got a carry out pizza (well, these days everything is carry out) and it was very good. The pizza was ready to be picked up when we were told it would be ready; and the young lady who waited on us was very nice...an accommodating. Also, we were charged a fair price for a tasty, well made pizza. Definitely worth a return trip.More

Went 01/29 to hear Randy Ashcraft and the Saltwater Cowboys- always great. Italian sub and cheesesteak were subpar. My real complaint is about my drink - 7.50 for a rail drink cosmo, which is ok, but a 6.00 charge for making it - a total...of 13.50 for a Cosmo that was ok. I called this morning and asked about the upcharge that I've never seen before. Was told it was a 2 pour drink. I said I've never paid that much for a rail drink. In fact, ordered a cosmo the night before at Loco Madre and it was 7.50. She didn't seem to care. I'll just go listen to Randy at Smitty McGee's the next time I'mi in town. On the plus sign, our server was very good,. She was the only server in a bar that was packed, probably because of Randy and not the food or upcharge prices.More
