We went to the one on the boardwalk. Wasn’t sure if they would still be open but they were. I wasn’t sure what to expect so I got half dozen. Again wasn’t sure because it’s now after 9:30 at night and I’ve just ordered donuts....But when I got them the box was warm…..hmmm and they smelled delish. Walked it back to our hotel where my son and I enjoyed a few donuts and milk. We finished them off before we left this morning and they were still good. This was probably one of my favorite things to eat on our vacation!! Definitely will make this a stop for next year!More

Don't go there. Expensive and bad. It is just fried cake in old oil then they put some real sugary flavored icing on top.

These doughnuts were amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever had a warm doughnut before, but I don’t think I ever want to eat one any other way. We tried a bunch of different flavors, but the Carnival one was my favorite. I will say I...wasn’t a big fan of their coffee, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all.More

Let me first say, if I saw a hot Fractured Prune donut in the garbage, I’d eat it. FP is a franchise and not all owned by the same person. This time I went to the one on 28th street. This is April so it’s...the slow season. This store was filthy. The dip bins where the toppings were held look like they haven’t been charged in weeks. I could see the crust line from when they were full. The refrigerators in the “dining” area had random messy things inside. If it was a Dunkin Donuts I would have left. I hope someone sees this and makes the place clean up! Do not let this review stop you from eating a Fractured Prune donut!!! They are awesome and there are many locations to choose from!More

I’ve heard much about the Fractured Prune and was happy to see one on the boardwalk open in the off season (October). I bought some to take back to the hotel, and I will say they were delicious. It is unique that you get them...warm, and the variety of flavors also make them special. They were well worth the walk down the beach. Apparently seagulls like them too- I had one hovering on each side of my head on the walk back to the hotel, and several others following along. It was really funny! Needless to say, I did not share!More

We just had a donut from the Fractured Prune last week. The specialty donuts were good. However, thought they were a bit costly for the size of the donut. Also, we eat Duck Donuts every year in Nags Head and we think they are better....Still good though.More

These are my favorite donuts ever. They offer a lot of cool flavors and they were always very quick and friendly.

Originally tried these in OC, NJ - was thrilled to see this in OC, MD and ended our stay with them. LOVE these. So good. So fresh. I'd be in a donut coma if there was one where I live.

Excellent doughnuts as always. Fresh and tasty. HOWEVER the restaurant itself was extremely dirty. If I were the owner I’d be embarrassed how it looked to customers. Certainly not cheap to purchase donuts here so let’s step up the cleaning and maintenance at this particular...location.More
