We got the crab leg cluster pot and the cluster of crab legs, steam shrimp and crab pot. Both were great! Wife added a crab cake also. Even the kids loved their meals of ribs and chicken mac and cheese. Our waitress, Christy, was very...attentive and informative. Will definitely go back if ever in Ocean City!More

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is just the best of OC. The food is AMAZING, the service is always right on, and there are food choices for just about anyone! The seafood is always fresh and delicious, the meat is perfectly done, and you can...actually taste alcohol in the cocktails! THANKYOU!!!! See you in AugustMore

These folks have quickly built an impressive business. Eat there every trip. Starting off, reasonably priced. More importantly food is always very good, done right, and made the way it should be. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Decor gives you a nice touch of...a true crab house. If you sit down on lower level, in the fireplace area, a neat touch on a cool evening. Lots of seating, spanning over several parts and buildings. Now specially, beast place to get crabs by 1/2Doz/Doz, or AYCE. Ribs are excellent. Love the shrimp, always lightly seasoned and not over steamed. Very diverse menu broken predominately by protein (in addition to prior mentioned, chicken, other seafood, beef, etc. on menu). Safe to say, all food is good. My wife and I typically order, 1/2 Doz of largest crabs (usually are large or bitter and full bodied), slap of ribs, pound of shrimp, and sides. My Dod goes with one of their steamer pots. All excellent.More

Lights out, absolutely fresh seafood! While things are a bit odd during COVID-19 times and the winter in OC at that - there was not excuse needed for our dinning experience... the seafood was the best I’ve had in a long time. I can’t say...that it’s a great deal... you will pay for it! However, if your looking for the best steamed shrimp and snow crab - look no further!More

Guys I don’t usually write negative reviews unless it is really bad . But since Crab Bag is one of my 2 favorite go to restaurants in OC I have to bring it up. The Muscles ! I talk up your plate to everyone. Last...night, really disappointing. No garlic butter broth in the bowl. I was told “we don’t do that any more”. No bread with the muscles. Don’t need bread if there’s nothing to dip in . Cream of crab soup. Bowl of salt . I couldn’t eat it . My wife LOVES cheese sticks. They are ridiculously priced , but hey it’s our favorite restaurant and we are on holiday. After the first couple bites she says “these are really not good “ I am going to chalk this up to tough ,weird times that we all do what we must to get by. This place was always so high on my list that I will be back next year looking for my use ta be . Hope you guys here me and take it as constructive criticism not hate. Best of luck See you next yearMore

Jumbo crabs and great service. Our usual, preferred servers weren’t available when we decided on steamed crabs for an impromptu lunch, but Lauren S was great. We lucked out getting a dozen jumbos and they were perfectly steamed, full and flavorful.

We wanted seafood takeout and decided to try steam pots. They were excellent. We ordered Alaskan Crab Legs, Jumbo Shrimp, Clams and Mussels. Also included corn on the cob and potatoes. I highly recommend The Crab Bag.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it was a bit disappointing. The dining room had an unpleasant odor( not from food) and we waited a very long time for waitress to take our order. I ordered a steam pot and the potatoes and corn were...not even cooked. High prices for mediocre food at bestMore

Rarely get to Maryland but on this trip I looked forward to some steamed Crabs. The Crab Bag was recommended by a local so I went. I ordered 6 Jumbo Crabs, they were big, well seasoned and tasty, $87.50, seems a little much, almost $15.00...per Crab but that's what it was. I ordered a side of Coleslaw, nice size portion but it was all Mayo, kind of gross. What goes great with Crab, maybe some onion rings or french fries, I asked the waitress if the onion rings were made on premises and she said no they were frozen, same with the french fries so my thoughts are since there are a lot of fried items on the menu the great probability is they are mostly frozen, not made on the premises and can probably be found in the frozen food section at Costco. I was still hungry after the Crabs so I ordered a Crab cake sandwich, $22.00 served with a side of potato chips and a $1.50 upgrade for frozen French Fries if you want, out came the sandwich with a ball shaped Crab cake sitting on a roll, no Mayo, no Tartare sauce, a sliced of tomato that had been around for awhile and limp a piece of lettuce. The potato roll was very good, the crab cake had an herb in it that hide the crab taste, not worth the money or calories, I didn't finish it. I won't go back but shame on them for serving frozen food, I am sure you can find a place in OC that takes pride in their food.More

So i will start with the ok...GF had crabs and they were solid...on the small side even tho she ordered the bigger ones...large i think... Now the bad...i ordered crab legs in a steam pot...this was plain awful. The crab legs were impossible to eat...and not prepared properly...the steam pot had a couple potatoes...and a horrible ear of corn...and that's it...taste bad....quality bad...value bad... Even worse the bartender could clearly see i was unhappy...and couldn't have cared less... That's the worst part with his much as we were spending for dinner he couldn't careless that we were having a bad timing experience...never again.More
