My husband and I showed up here around 3:30 on a Saturday and the place was pretty sparse but just brushed that off to the time of day. We ordered drinks - the dreamsicle crush was excellent! So I was thinking if the food is as good as the drink we've got a winner. Sadly though the fishnet that I... More
My family always talks about this place and the good ol' days. We went there for a function that they were sponsoring. Simplistic no frills inside, but the staff were nice and the food was good so who cares. I will definitely be going back but since I don't pass by it regularly, I never know the specials they are... The food is outstanding! Features local seafood but also has many other offerings. Live band can be loud so go early if you want quiet atmosphere . Has special features and eveant in the summer. Beautiful waterfront view'.
When its not crowded , this is a good place to have a beer and some seafood on the deck overlooking the creek. It can get really crowded and rowdy on weekends, with bands etc. Friday nights usually have seafood buffet.

This is a hidden treasure. Veras restaurant has some pretty decent food and excellent crabs. But the hands down best part is the beach tiki bar at the bottom of the property. Hammocks, loungers in the water and a great array of crushes at the bar. Beach bartender has a great attitude and gives good customer service.

Plate was thin on cold, not cooked all the way through fries. Crab cake "ball": somehow they deep fried a ball of mayo and crabmeat... More
My husband and I go on Thrusday for the special on crabs and beers..great place, we love sitting outside and watching the sun go down
I've personally only been here once, but my fiancé grew up going here. Everyone there is extremely nice and friendly. It's a super warm atmosphere and while I don't get good cell phone coverage there, it's a great and relaxing spot. Drinks aren't too bad, it wasn't super crowded, and there was a lot of room. It's a great place... More
