Best service we have had in a long time. Great food and large portions. Very family oriented so not for a quiet meal. We were disappointed there was no outside seating.

The waitress was very helpful in selecting our lunch (Michele). Had the fried green tomato. It was great. Smothered in a crab and corn bisque. It could have been a meal. Then the oyster sandwich was also well done with tasty French fries. And the...rockfish in crab sauce was perfect. We topped it off with coconut pie that could serve three but we two ate it all. So tasty and huge portions. We took a baked potato, fries, half oyster sandwich and a serving of rockfish home ( no pie). We will go there again. Great service, nice atmosphere and great food.More

Hasn’t been back here in years but just went again had amazing crab cakes and went back the next day and had amazing fried oysters for lunch so went back one last time for dinner and scored with amazing blackened rockfish. We had to head...off but we joked when we saw the trip advisor reviews just now that we apparently need to turn around and try the cream of crab soup. What a treasure. Phenomenal staffMore

This place has been a favorite of ours for years for cream of crab soup, but we were very disappointed on our recent visit. The soup seemed to be made with inferior grade of crab. There were no lump pieces and there were lots of...shell fragments. If you're interested in it, ask the server what grade of crab they are using in the soup before you order. If it's not a high grade, don't order it.More

Fantastic experience. Our food was delicious and our service was exceptional. Beautiful view of the marina from our table and an overall enjoyable experience. We were all glad that we selected Fisherman’s Inn over the other local restaurants.

This establishment goes back almost a century and has all the expectations of a vintage Chesapeake Bay seafood house! Located in a marina, with big open window views of boats and water. Nautical decor and a famous oyster plate collection. Great menu selections that include...fresh local catches prepared in a variety of ways to suit almost anybody. Our party tried several different offerings and all said "delicious" ! I personally had the shellfish pot appetizer for my entre, and I would highly recommend it. The seafood broth was the best I have ever eaten and my wife said the coconut cream pie desert was the best she had ever eaten!More

The view is great. Lunch menu somewhat limited- not too many choices. I ordered the Hot Crab Melt with Fries. It consisted of Imperial Crab on Ciabatta Bread, with a slice of tomato and Fontina and Provolone Cheeses. They young man who delivered our food...warned me to be careful as the plate was very hot. How then, was the crab melt barely lukewarm? It was supposed to be baked. How can you bake something and it not be hot? Was it dished up and then allowed to sit while they cooked my husband;s lunch? He ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and asked that the lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickle be left off. It was. His sandwich was very hot and he said it was very good. Both of our orders of French Fries were barely warm. Very disappointing. The crab imperial was good, but needed to be hot. I told our Server, when I asked for the check, that the Fries and my Crab Melt were warm, not hot. She said she'd mention it to the cook. You would have thought they would have taken something off our check- not that I expected it, but just as a courtesy since they messed up. But no- not one penny off. I paid $21.99 for a barely warm lunch. Not acceptable. Serve the food hot or don't serve it at all. No one likes lukewarm fries or crab meat. Had looked forward to trying this restaurant for a while, but was very disappointed.More

We came in on a Friday during Lent for some good seafood. The food was fair at best - and that’s being generous. And it came literally four minutes from when we ordered. I don’t expect to go to a restaurant and pay these prices...for a meal that, start to finish, took less than 35 minutes to eat for a family of four (including a slow-eating six year old). I could have a dinner that quick (and non-relaxing) at Applebee’s for less than half the price. The portions were very small for the cost (except for the fish and chips - that was a great size). Our server was attentive, but the system forced you to either tip $0 or a minimum of 20%. There wasn’t an option for a custom amount. The amount I tip should be up to me, not their system. Under no circumstances will I go back again.More

I have lived in MD my whole life and grew up visiting Fisherman’s Inn (FI) for all kinds of special occasions. My family loves seafood and the surrounding area is beautiful. However, today’s FI is nothing like it used to be, in all categories. The...most important category, food quality, is where they’ve declined the most. Today’s visit included a way-overcooked filet, a tiny overcooked “10oz” lobster tail that was about 2ozs, overcooked broccoli, salad full of big chucks of white romain. I could go on. Pair this with “couldn’t be bothered” service and it just left a really bad taste in our mouths. The desserts looked good but I didn’t get one. Lastly, the prices have gone up significantly. So basically, if you want Red Lobster quality at Ruth’s Chris prices this is the place for you.More

So, my wife and I had been planning this get-away for quite some time. We read all the reviews, and had selected the best places, so it's not unexpected that we went to places that we rated highly. But this stood out-- if I died...tomorrow, my last thought might very well be about their oyster stew. Fat, plump, juicy fresh oysters in a superb cream broth, seasoned perfectly and not a trace of grit. My wife had the butternut squash bisque and greatly enjoyed it. The oysters on the half shell were well cleaned and tasty, although, as with all the places around here, served only with cocktail sauce. My wife and I split one main and one appetizer for dinner, the shellfish steampot and the coconut shrimp, both of which were absolutely high end, prepared with care and quality (I nibbled quite a bit of the coconut shrimp dipping sauce, it was that good). The garlic bread for dipping into the steampot cooking liquid was a nice touch. I had a bloody mary, which was quite good, and my wife had two sangrias, which she deemed good for a restaurant sangria. Our only quibble is that we sat with empty glasses quite a bit of time but that was probably the typical COVID employee shortages at work, so no penalty here, we understand, service was otherwise quite good, attentive, and helpful. All of that wonderfulness was $121, and with a string of disappointing high-end places behind us, we can both say this was worth every single penny we spent on such a great dinner.More

Don’t expect a wonderful crab cake here. We enjoy our ‘crab cake’ experience when we visit this area. This one had mainly shredded crabmeat, bland and dry. For the price, it should live up to the standard s at other restaurants nearby. My husband enjoyed...his stuffed flounder. We didn’t get our bread or soup until after the entrees arrived and we reminded our server. Due to staff shortages and our late arrival, this could just be a misstep.More

Mainly a seafood place, some dishes may be good for a vegetarian diet; but I doubt a true vegan can be accommodated.
