We were in the area for the C&O Canal, so we stopped in before exploring a bit of the downtown. Their place is about perfect for coffee and related muffins or other hand-foods. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, fair pricing. We stayed for some eggs and...More
Cafe Mark was the only place we could find open on Sunday in Cumberland. We ate outside on tables under the trees. Good breakfast menu - but closes at 1pm on Sundays.
Drove up here for 10 miles to have breakfast twice and were not disappointed, on the contrary. A typical great american place serving excellent breakfast options and above all perfect tasty coffee as if you were in Italy. Great work folks.
Had good lunch at Cafe Mark. Glad to see a place like this open for lunch downtown on a Saturday afternoon. Cumberland needs more businesses like this one. Dog friendly and the outdoor seating is a big plus.

My wife and I decided to try Cafe Mark for breakfast this Sunday. I opted for the special with home fries and my wife went for the sweet potatoes bowl. My home fries, eggs, toast and bacon with drip coffee were outstanding. The sweet potatoes...More
I was visiting my father in the local hospital but went out for a great omelet at Cafe Mark. Friendly staff, inviting restaurant.
Coffee menu is complete and reasonably priced, better than Starbucks obviously, which we don't have in Cumberland anyway. The food menu, especially breakfast and brunch items, are wonderful. Been here many times over 10 years.
My wife and I stopped here for breakfast recently. This was my first time for breakfast and the French Toast was amazing. I have purchased deserts here before as they share space with Jenifers Deserts. She makes delicious deserts of all kinds.
