The best and only place in Cumberland, MD that I'm aware of that serves Maryland Blue Crabs in season. We have eaten here dozens of times thruout the years as far back as when the place was called Crab Alley. Thru the years the place changed owners and then the name to include both their signature dishes. The smoked ribs... More

As others have noted, great location! Right there at the Bike Trail and C & O Canal. Friendly staff, cold beer and great burgers. Afterwards, go next door and rent bikes to pedal on the passage and/or canal. Right near the Fairfield Inn.

If you're riding the C&O Towpath and/or Great Allegheny Passage, it might be worth your time to stop in here for a beer and some BBQ. It's a nice and inexpensive place to fuel up without having to venture far into town.

We were in Cumberland to ride the C & O bike trail. We visited Crabby Pigs as it is located next to the trail. We were not disappointed. I had and excellent Crab Cake sandwich and my wife had ribs. Our friend got one of their pulled pork sandwiches. All meals were very tasty. The server has good and friendly... More

This is a great stop when you are in the Cumberland area. Located near the historic canal and train station they offer the areas best seafood and bbq. We got soup, salads and pork bbq. The cream of the crab is a stand out on the menu. Offers a selection of beers, indoor outdoor seating and great service.

Basic pub with lively terrace under the freeway! (Much better than it sounds) Next to the canal and train station, close to the beginning of both the GAP trail and the Canal trail. Fast, attentive service with a great menu. We tried the Maryland Crab, which we were successfully able to conquer--it might have been better without the heavy dusting... More

My husband I ate here after our trip to the Rocky Gap and the zoo. The ribs are so tender they melt in your mouth. Crab cakes is one the best I have had in a long time. Lump fresh crab with very little filler to hold it together. If your ever in the area, its a place worth dining... More

Between Columbus, OH and Washington DC we needed a place to stop for lunch. All I can say is once we found this place...it was excellent. Service was fast, servers were very pleasant and looked like they enjoyed their job and the food that was delivered to us...excellent. We looked for what we thought would be a good place to... More

We stopped in here after our disappointing ride on the Western Maryland Railroad train trip. Our sandwiches were quite good and the crab soup was good, if not thin. The soup tasted good though. I would recommend this for a nice, not too pricey meal.
