Recently had a great afternoon and evening at The Crooked Billet, as a friend got married and held their reception there. Brilliant location, the sun shone, champagne and canapes out the front of the pub, and a fantastic evening event with great food prepared by...More

We came here for lunch on a Tuesday having booked in advance. We were surprised when we arrived how busy it was for an out-of-the-way place on a weekday. Pretty soon, however, we realised why. The outside area is pleasant enough, sunny, if it's out...More

What can I say....just excellent food, well served as usual by a well trained team. Onion tart and haggis (McSween's of course) to start followed by sea bass and lobster thermidor....fantastic. Just one point please clear the candlewax off the tables each day after service!
